Bilsteins 5100s on the top setting, 4runner Gray TRD Pro Sema wheels, 285/70/17 Toyo AT3s, Sumo Bump stops, TRD exhaust, ECGS Clamshell bushing, 1/4 shim for the lean and one inch rear block, OEM Pro grill and garnish OEM TRD Skid plate, TRD CAI, Demon Brackets, Rigid Industries Pro fog lights, OEM Trail Rails sidebars, Diode Dynamics LED SL1 high and low beam lights, OEM Roof racks, Clazzio leather heated seats, Remote Start, TRD Pro shift knob, tinted windows, Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amp for the headunit and sub and amp combo, OEM Puddle lights, OEM tailgate lock, OEM bed mat, LED interior lights, OEM blackout kit for letters, JLT catch can, upgraded 27F toyota True Start battery, Vleds led tail light kit with Pro tail lights, OEM Rave4 side mirrors with convex spotters, just to name a few mods.
Its over priced if you really compare it to the bilsteins, the all black grill is just okay looking, the garnish use to be $40 and the tss crap everyone is worried about is not an issue. Lots of lifted Tacomas and not an issue. Great kits, just over priced and everyone is worried about warranty.

I've heard that some dealers will install them on DCLBs, even though the "instructions" say not to.

For those worried about the TSS, I did 5100s on OME 885s up front and a 1.5" AAL and 5100s in the rear.

So far no issue related to the TSS at all. I've only driven like 100miles since the install, but 0 issues.

While this is definitely true, with an aftermarket lift you are at the mercy of how cooperative the dealership wants to be if you go in for a suspension related warranty repair on any remaining OEM components. If they refuse to do the repair under warranty because they claim the lift caused the issue, your only alternative is to fight them on it. If you need to get a lawyer involved your cost to fight it will probably exceed the cost of paying for the repair yourself. While the TRD lift kit is likely overpriced, it avoids any issues like this.

You're probably right, and it's a personal decision everyone has to make for themselves. For me, other than my Bakflip tonneau cover and Weathertech stone/bug shield, everything I've added to my truck is OEM.

Likewise. I actually have all OEM pro mods and did it for a reason. I totally understand both sides of this story

Just installed my own version of this lift yesterday. Bought the TRD shocks individually, and a toytec 1” block. Aftermarket Pro grill, but with OEM garnish. Great ride, perfectly leveled, no TSS issues less than $800 all in (after paying for install)

Thanks for the help!! Would you mind sharing an overview pic of your truck? I’d love to see what the lift looks like!

Bilsteins 5100s on the top setting, 4runner Gray TRD Pro Sema wheels, 285/70/17 Toyo AT3s, Sumo Bump stops, TRD exhaust, ECGS Clamshell bushing, 1/4 shim for the lean and one inch rear block, OEM Pro grill and garnish OEM TRD Skid plate, TRD CAI, Demon Brackets, Rigid Industries Pro fog lights, OEM Trail Rails sidebars, Diode Dynamics LED SL1 high and low beam lights, OEM Roof racks, Clazzio leather heated seats, Remote Start, TRD Pro shift knob, tinted windows, Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amp for the headunit and sub and amp combo, OEM Puddle lights, OEM tailgate lock, OEM bed mat, LED interior lights, OEM blackout kit for letters, JLT catch can, upgraded 27F toyota True Start battery, Vleds led tail light kit with Pro tail lights, OEM Rave4 side mirrors with convex spotters, just to name a few mods.
Were talking shocks and struts, when people talk suspension like mechanics they mostly refer to control arms, sway bars, ball joints, bushings and more. Its just shocks and struts and a simple block. Thousands of people run the 5100s and no issues. People are over thinking this. I see what your saying.

What clip location did you use on the front? I got my lift on yesterday but my rear really looks to be sagging. I do have four rims in the bed but I feel like that shouldn't cause any sag.

Instructions say top notch for double cabs but I am contemplating pulling off and dropping the clip.

Unfortunately I can’t say for sure as I had the dealer install it as part of the purchase of the truck. In the morning I’ll see if I can take a measurement you can reference.

So my front is .5" higher from tire to fender than the rear. It's not obvious until I add some weight in the bed. Anyone else confirm this is expected? Truck is a Sport and brand new so hoping the front settles down.
