    The previous noticed issues of potential lean tip in throttle by removing the orfice jet out is no longer a con point of the conversation due to the fact that we now have HPTuners.

    I drilled out my orfice jet and ran it for a while but I didn't like it ultimately as an auto A5. I pulled the jet once more and got tuned for HPT by Justin, and it's been a solid win ever since. No issues, no pinging, no knock, nothing.

    Quick question.........I’m planning on taking off my URD Mark lll exhaust (the mid pipe and tail pipe sections) to get them media blasted and ceramic coated. If I were to take off my cat back as explained above, would it be that terribly obnoxious? I’m know it’ll be louder. My truck as it is, is pretty loud. But by just running headers to my URD y-pipe for a few days, would it be crazy loud?

    I’m trying to figure out how to get these ceramic coated and still drive my truck as needed until I can get them back on.

    I dont think youll do any damage by taking it off. Ive let mine idle a few times without the catback on and it didnt hurt anything besides my ears

    I was/am in the same boat. In the last 3 years I’ve spent a considerable amount of dough on the house. That’s obviously in addition to the money I’ve spent on my Tacoma and Chevelle. Then this rare opportunity to get the JFR pipe came along with no fabrication wait time, I had to jump on it. That and the figgs. :cool:
