    the idle set screw is epoxy locked @JuanitoBunito , a little pecking gets rid of it. idle set screw needs a very slight adjustment to be perfect. credit goes to @Roostfactor for those details. dont worry, super simple.

    I’m contemplating getting one. My pdm sleeve has been fine on 10k. But there are bad reviews out there. This hydro bearing seems good but it’s definitely not been tested anywhere close to the 50k marker.

    Im guessing it will fit with a spec clutch

    Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
    Got my Tundra throttle body and adapter sitting on a shelf. I am still sorting through intake adjustments. However, I need to find out more info on the idle set screw adjustments. Is this documented in here?

    Ya I knows... I am planning on doing a proper writeup, I've just been driving around without the supercharger belt for the last month. Even for freeway driving it works just fine so there isn't a huge incentive to put it back on when the roads are icy like they are right now.

    For now, I can say this:
    1. They work without interference.
    2. The sound is pretty good but still sounds like a V6.
    3. In the upper RPM it runs more smoothly than before.

    @Torspd what are your thoughts on the use of Red line oils at very low temperatures? I am insane, and am driving one of the most modified Tacomas on the continent year-round. The Toyota parts I'm not worried about since they theoretically do serious cold-weather testing, but I wonder about danger to the performance camshafts. I am running 5W-30 Red line in the winter here. Based on a discussion with the local performance shop, that will be fine as long as I go easy on it until everything warms up. We are talking potentially -40 degrees or even lower up here, last year it made it that low for about a week so it's definitely going to happen sometimes.

    It's true, I does use a block heater when I can - although where I park for work there is unfortunately no outlet to attach it to. But I might be able to find an alternate parking spot for the super cold days.

    At my house I keep it in my heated garage. It's like the tropics in there.

    Block heater should be considered mandatory at those temps. I used to run one any time sub-zero F. Also consider a low wattage oil pan heater, like 120W or so, and maybe an electric battery blanket.

    I recently put in both the hydro bearing and a spec 2+ clutch. Can confirm they work perfectly together.
