    I'm wondering if your cooling system in that truck was properly bled of air bubbles because these trucks are known to cook you with the heater on.

    something was weird. it never heated well. glad i totalled it and got one with a s/c.:D

    yeah. had to pull studs for the urd. @JustDSM can make everything quick work when all channels are open. i need to raise some fuss with hp to get all mine up and going. i really want that 3.5" intake tube to go in.

    in regards to the debate of s/c coolant reservoir size for temps. ive found, with my particular routing. 1' before s/c intercooler inlet temps are almost right with ambient. i have a canton racing tank near the back passenger side firewall. unsheilded from header heat after 45min. of shitty stop and go traffic incoming temps are only 7* above ambient. so, id say resi tank size doesnt play a large hand in temps of s/c fluid. every setup may have different results. this is mine. just thought id put this out as a reference.

    I think it would work great. The one bad thing about these systems is the fact that you have to bypass your stock heat exchanger. Which then means you have to run your AC 24/7 inorder to cool your supercharger. Then when you are coming home from camping on a long road trip and your AC system decides to take a permanent nap you are screwed. You can configure it so you can bypass the killerchiller to run the stock HE though. I was close to buying one of these systems but at the time my AC system didn't work right so I didn't want to kill my in cab performance. A few visits to Toyota later they replaced my whole AC system and it still sucked, so I put a resister inline of the thermometer that reads your evap core temp and that solved the issue.

    I looked into it for a while but in all the research (Tundra guys who used killer chillers) it seems like this type of system is great for track runs but heat soaks quickly under repeated use.

    Indeed. It also seems they have a new drag kit (more $$) but half the recovery time. I think for DD with some spirited runs every now and then would be ok, but I do wonder what would happen if you are boosting up a steep grade for a few minutes.
