I added a cat sim and didn’t change. The error now points to the AIC. I think the sensor is dead. I cLeaned it good but same error. It was a little better but still went to fail mode. Going to get a new AIC valve/sensor as the last try

I'm really novice to throttle bodies, and a lot of things...but what is the benefit of having a tundra throttle body? Its def larger than our OEM one. My assumption is that it sucks in more air, as a bolt on option. Is this correct?

Good luck finding an RCF or GSF throttle body in a junkyard. I can count on one hand how many of those cars I’ve even seen in the wild.

I believe the TB is the biggest restriction pre-supercharger. So more boost I believe?

I suppose it would be a great benefit if I had a straight pipe...but I live in Commiefornia. :(

Curious as well. I read through the other thread. is there a benefit to the 70 or 76mm? I’ve held out on any URD stuff but if they have an adapter I could be swayed. seems like could be for us boosted with fuel mods. Pros or Cons?

Well no excuses now.. .IAC valve that we focused on was the issues. Grabbed one at O'reily's today and did change. At least now I can say I can break down the intake, throttle body and replace the IAC in 10 minutes.

Now there are no excuses, the S/C build goes on!

What was the outcome of the hunt that was going on for a lower radiator hose ? did anybody ever find a drop in replacement alternative ? When my SC belt gave it took part of the lower rad hose with it..

@Boozng bought the factory TRD one from me and took it to HPS. They are going to re-make it and will be able to offer a upper and lower kit for boosted applications. I believe he cut the 2.5" out of it so we won't have to do any trimming of a new hose.

Its not going to be done for another few months. I just dropped it off a few weeks ago. Plus, I'm currently deployed, and not sure if I'll make it back for a test fit when the sample comes back. You're better off purchasing a new one from toyota, if you're in dire need of one. I have an OEM lower radiator hose currently on mine right now, and the cooling fan has rubbed a chunk off. But its still holding strong...for now.

    "Hey David,

We might get the sample either in the beginning of May or June when you get back. We are a little behind because of the corona virus thats going around. We should still be fine and still be on schedule because its only one hose. I'll be sure to let you know as soon as we get the hose in.

    Thank you,

    Gerald Dojillo"

@nudavinci64 I'M SO F-ING EXCITED FOR YOU! :bananadance: I had a great time tearing into my truck when I did my install. Not to sound rude, but reading your post about the build up to this has been a tease.
