what did you use to grind? I think it’s just AL so it should work to use my die grinder would would work but not sure, may require a burning up a few stones. I don’t know if a metal bit works well not on a cnc machine.

Whoa! Blast from the past! That truck looks so incognito stock I didn't even realize it had the supercharger on it until I zoomed in! Very nice Norton!

This is the orange foam seal you guys are talking about. what does it do? Is it an attempt to keep some oil off the heat exchanger?

thanks for answering my dumb question.

so if I take off the $25 foam I must add back on a $3k multistage meth system to keep the engine cool, right? :D

I believe just to guide air through the intercooler and not around it.

Not sure if anyone answered this. But, yes. The brake master reservoir is also the clutch reservoir. The clutch portion is the front-most section and is divided internally to prevent a leaking clutch system from draining the entire thing. That would be bad.

    edit.

Apparently trucks with all that traction control whiz bang fanciness get a separate clutch reservoir. Probably because their brake master cylinder/booster is drastically different.

Remember, the Sport and OR models are different also, so for me I have a bunch of ABS lines and the module blocking any further activity in the back by the intake, so it literally screws me.

The air pump mounting is definitely up to the imagination, as one size will not fit all at all.

It keeps air from getting past the internal cooler forcing a near perfect seal inside for the air to travel through that path before it gets cooled off by the cooler.

Yeah. Same here. Went as big as I could without cutting completely through the inner lip of aluminum that holds the gasket in place. After matching that to the adapter and then blending inwards (mostly by feel), The opening ended up being 72mm.

That’s why I was asking about the 76mm. You’d surely have to cut away the groove for the TB gasket to open it up enough.

Thanks for pointing this out. I’ve never seen a manual trans truck with traction control. Rare bird.

Can definitely tell from this pic that you’re on Tacomaworld a lot.

Stock air box still? This intake @12TRDTacoma has been going on about is right up your alley.

And, what is that on your oil filter?

Hey @BillDaCat8 if you have access to your handy catalog right now, if you could do me the favor and look up the PBT PN for the SAI air pump female and male plugs that would definitely save me a lot of hassle and I would greatly appreciate it! Lol.

Then you should have a separate reservoir for your clutch master like @Norton

I'm referring to the big ole honking hydraulic VSC/Atrac/whatever actuator.

    upload_2020-4-11_12-44-1.jpg

If you've got that setup, the clutch reservoir is remote.

I could be way off and reading this wrong, but on my 2014 TRD Sport, I have the ability to turn on Auto LSD, and if I hold that button, it turns off what I read as traction control being turned off...
