255, 320, 340 are common. I run the 320 AEM. The thing rocks.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
I'd guess 99% of us are on 255. I chose the deatschwerks cause I heard it was quieter, but I had good results with the Walboro on my old WRX.

I don't like the 255 because they are loud, but they'll work.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
some also experience hard starts due to pressure relief but I do t think this has occurred with the 320

Yeah, I've experienced super intermittent hard starts (not harder to start, but extended cranking) with the 320, but hey the way our pumps operate when the truck is cranking only makes it sort of the nature of the beast.

Alright, so enlighten me.. NEWB that I am.. what are the disadvantages of going with a 320 over the 255..? It doesnt dump more fuel, it will just allow for more fuel to flow if/when needed..?

welp, that is the first I have heard. There were a few that installed check valves with 255s.

There are no disadvantages.. it's just a different color, different brand and more headroom to top out in horsepower.

Capacity and duty cycle. Same output but less load on the pump

I just let it be. The amount of extended starts over proper starts I've had, like the ratio is 1/1000.

If your not gonna go nuts with your truck in terms of mods, if your gonna keep it simple and not over the top like many if not most here......the 255 is just fine.

I flash the ECU's the day I receive them and send them back out the following AM via USPS Priority Mail (2-3day shipping). I can also send them via Overnight/Express if you want to pick up the tab on the difference in cost. But I otherwise cover the shipping for the Priority mail.

Well the FJ tube transplant on an AFE airbox seems to be a success. Still waiting on my damn gold alternator pulley, which is in Canada somewhere at least. Should be a couple days and I can finally get this thing on the road again!
