this guy has too many spare parts and time to make this. wonder what his next mod is?

 

I run fast on the hwy...not sure I want to change the gearing. Unless I'm stuck in traffic (which Covid has mostly cured), I'm cruising at 80 or so. Gas mileage be damned!

 

I know you travel to May Hee Co. often. You need the 3.73.

 

yeah, gears are what you need per truck. ask questions and think on it.

 

Traffic is pretty much back to normal here. But people got used to hammering down the throttle so people are still doing it. There’s pretty much a multi car accident everyday here.

Yesterday I tried to catch up to this car with a tire going flat but he was flying and when there were cars he was weaving in and out. I said fuck it and just left it alone. I estimate he had no more than 12 psi left at the time I gave up.

 

They call it the Frankentensioner. Hahaha.

Ah,I thought it was the muffler bearing mount.

 

If you have a rear disc setup the sequoia and I think Tundra help with that but you won’t get much on the stock setup. And only non ATRAC setups

 

Was hoping someone would point that out - not for TRD OR models.

 

Yah the pro and off road are a no go. I’m still going to give it a go.

 

Can anyone confirm if this is a URD supercharger for the 4L? Bonus points if you can figure out the stage number or spot any missing parts

Its the only picture I have so far ( crappy i know) and would like some reassurance before I offer to put a deposit on it. Unfortunately its about 750 miles away so I cant just go look at it myself and the seller is apparently away At their shift work until first week of July so I cant get more pictures until then.

I’ve never seen the URD kit in person. If you can’t find the info here on the forum, maybe try calling Steve (Gadget) at URD and see if he can identify what’s in the pic.

 

Looks like a mk1. Stage is dependent on pulley size and (if I remember right) has a 7th injector.

 

Does that include the UCON? You will need that or similar engine managemeent to run it.

 

na its super old. so like map ecu 2 or 3.

 

I only see the bypass valve. Not a port for the HKS BOV.

The intercooler looks too small, and the thing on the right of the tailgate looks like the water to air intercooler.

So it does look to be for the 1GR. However all signs point to URD's first iteration of chargers. Not the more efficient current ones.

If ever buying a rotrex, or whatever, have the buyer send video of them spinning the charger and looking at the impellers.

A guy once got a kit. Maybe it was on buying a used truck. Was diagnosing why it made no boost. Come to find out, there was no impeller. Lol.

 

He bought himself an expensive fancy pipe then.

 

He sure did. As well as another 2k to fill the pipe with hot air.

 

Damn that was like he the worst.
