UCON ran my truck decent overall, but on occasion it would do weird things. When HP Tuners became available I ordered immediately and have been happy to have the UCON out of the picture.

If anyone had the Ripp coil packs on their list, use discount code "ILEXO" for $20 off. Almost covered the shipping cost.

Or...hear me out. A CTS-V wagon. Now that thing is sick.

For those other muscle cars first thing I’d try to check for is if any of the previous owners used it for sideshows. Nothing like swinging a car into a curb and fixing it cheaply.

The more I look at it the more I want one. Would be a great vehicle to goto Napa. Maybe if it ever reaches poor people prices...

The Cadillac Blackwing looks/looked interesting, as least until they killed the engine being developed for it.

Not sure what that means, but there is/was a lot of potential there.

I almost bought a prime Chevy SS a couple years ago. Regret not doing that now to swap out my STI.

yah when they stopped making the CTS V it became even harder to get. I missed out on a 2007 Audi RS4 a few months back for $16k-$17k. That is an amazing machine if anyone is into Euros. 420HP AWD, effortless machine. I almost bought one back when I first got the Tacoma but could not justify the price with the amount of miles.

Just looked it up. That looked promising. Wonder why Toyota/Lexus doesn’t take part in these HP wars.

Reminds me of the old computer processor war to get more GHz.

That is my all time favorite Audi. Been awhile since I’ve looked into them. I think I remember you have to pull the engine to change the timing belt?

Not a wagon fan but if I had to get one it would be either a forester sti, evo wagon, e61 m5, or a v10 audi one.

When I was shopping for my Lexus I was looking at e60’s too because the price was pretty good a few years ago. I saw a few with sub 30k miles at around $20k. The reliability was going to get annoying pretty quick so I passed. Also searched for some V10 A8L’s, and for a short time V10 tdi Touareg’s.

Stay away from the v-10 my. It is notorious for needed rod bearings every 40-50k. Go with the E39 m5, much better. Lol

I hear ya. I was not either until I scored a sweet deal on the Audi Avant (wagon) I had. If I could import an Audi RS4 Avant I would to that in a heart beat. Wide Body, Big V8 tons of potential or the twin turbo All Road, Skys the limit.
