    Ouch. That'd be $1800 down the hole.

    Yeah it did wind up being more which is disappointing to say the least, but when it comes to my comfort during the heat, I'll pay whatever it takes to get there, reliably, that goes without saying.

    100% agree there. Well though tout, summer heat as you pointed out and some reliability I will pay extra to ensure that. Cant wait. I need to pull out my shroud and get a better seal so this works out perfectly.

    Since likely will need to drain coolant (I assume) can you do it by just doing the radiator or would we need to do the engine block too? if we don't even better but I recall at least the top hose gets in the way.

    Yeah I think the top hose MAY interfere, but you may be able to sneak it out of there. Even then the stock shroud is used so you may be able to get away with just removing the old fan and clutch setup as is.

    That being said however, we will have to remove the upper anyway to install the inline temp sensor so I think coolant removal will have to be a must. Just removing the upper hose and letting the coolant drain out will suffice unless you have a machine which sucks it all out. I may end up doing all this at my work on a day off because we have the machine there to suck out all the coolant.

    I can't wait either, but I think sealing it all may be redundant considering the amount of air that fan will be moving will be plenty to overcome the inherent air leakage that is present on our trucks.

    yah it may be but even just tossing some hvac tape around the shroud stopped my truck from almost blowing up so it needs some. (more an issue with the CSF radiator and there so called drop in radiators)

    You are a mad man. I need to get rid of a few cars but man if they were all project cars that would be the death of me. We just got an electric car and im holding out on visually modding it. not much to do power wise. insane how fast these things are.

    haha a bit hard to do on this one but 0-60 in 4.2 is already insanely fast especially compared to driving my truck.

Since I bought the FJ one almost 3 years and it is still in the box.
