nice, they need to get on this thread to give us the news first. we like our double rollers. would it be worth swapping these out even if the ones are relatively new on my setup? my assumption is not needed now but with this thread why not.

 

have them on hand just in case.

 

for sure il likely grab some. My idler barely have a few thousand miles on them so likely a ton of life but if them double rows help with the wind up or better in the long run ill swap them in. My RIPP's show up tomorrow then I have a couple other items cooling wise to do so will be a good time to swap

 

Dude double rollers are the way to go. The workload is distributed to both idlers equally instead of bearing (no pun intended) all the load on just one. Granted when it's time to change them it's that much more work but hey, gotta pay to play right?

I think for those still using the OE tensioner this is a great route because you get to enjoy the benefits of a dual roller setup.

I agree though. Superchargers Online SHOULD be coming here first because this is the boosted owners hub where we talk about anything and everything under the sun that is all boost and life in general.

 

So wouldn't the tensioner pulley be able to just bolt onto the Roush tensioner and make it an perfect do it once upgrade without the hassle of having to modify stuff to get the double roller goodness on the Roush?

 

I would really like to know this, as it would definitely become an upgrade I’ll add to my list. Also, as far as SCOL, they offer a ton of things they can do. These include rebuilds and porting. Only downside is it must obviously be sent to them.

for those curious on this new double roller, get them. i replaced all my idlers 16months ago and i hear a bearing chirping in the morning. for lesser maintainence i would say you cant lose. who doesnt like reliable. i assume these are parts made in 'murica right?
