Yes, mentally I feel young. Sense of humor like a kid but sometimes feel physically like I’m 60. My job and all the other shit I used to do has taken its toll on my body.

Youtube crap you old saltdog mechanic.

It was actually a long withstanding meme where for some reason Knuckles (from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise) became "Ugandan Knuckles," the popular thing for a while was telling people Yew don't kno de wey.

I found it fitting as a response to Jackson Tacoma since he was talking about, "this is the way" which is a Star Wars "The Mandalorian" thing.

I'm with you though, I'm getting a little old on all the fads and BS that comes about with the kids these days.

Lucky you. I'm 31 and I have a handful of consistent gray hairs now. The amount of stress my life has seen lately has been more elevated than I'd like to deal with, but hey, I guess that's life.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat as you. My body feels 50 or 60 after so many years of work in both the automotive and military workforce fields. My body is paying for all of the sins from my 20's. I have slowed down considerably and some days I can't even walk much. Just the other day I couldn't even go up a flight of stairs.

Mentally though I still joke like a 18 year old because it helps keep me young mentally.

I have a question for anyone running the not so popular bully dog tune. I went to update the file last night, but when I hooked it back up at gave me code 012. Says I need to uninstall the old tune to update. I've updated the file in the past and never had to remove tge old file. Is this new. Maybe they fixed the lean condition and thats why you have to remove old file. I sent bully dog a message. Was just curious if anyone else has encountered this. Thanks

I don’t think anyone here is running that because it’s been well advised to stay away. You’ve probably heard this already but,.....look into making a swap into hptuners

The solution is to 86 the Bully Dog tuner. They are documented garbage. Make the jump to HPT and watch your truck and your superchargers life flourish.

I’ve had numerous ailments that have always bothered me. Now they’ve come full circle, deteriorated disk in my low back (bone on bone on one side) and stenosis in my neck. Some days suck, I don’t know how I’ve made it through on some fires I’ve been on looking back. I just buck up and go to work I guess. Adrenaline kicks in which I’m sure helps. At this point, I’m just worried how I’ll feel when I’m older

I am in the exact same boat as you. I worry a lot about what things will look like 5-10 years down the road, as I have a reverse curve on my neck, premature degenerative wear in my lower back, damage to my L5 and S1 disks and diagnosed Scoliosis on my general back. I supposedly have breaks in my pelvis bone and my L5 bone as well. I tend to get random debilitating shooting jolts which paralyze me temporarily and can drop me to the ground. My back as a whole is a mess and it's wonder I've made it this far in relatively okay shape.

My days working now are numbered and I don't think I have a lot of time left at this point.

Trust me I know. I want to make the swap. With hp tuners do you need to be able to tune the file your self or can they pre program something for yout setup. I would have to get a new ecu also wouldn't I. Not sure I can remove the bully dog. I will look into the hptuner some more. Funny thing is I new I would get these exact same comments from you guys. I really do appreciate everyone's expertise. Thanks again!

@JustDSM is your guy. He will be tuning me in the future. They can’t custom tune. As long as you can go to the stock s/c tune you should be good. If I’m wrong, someone here will correct me on this

You can reverse the bulldog and make the switch to HPT. Talk to @JustDSM he will take care of you for cheap. Hes our resident tuner god and he takes care of all of us.
