Can still get a Ford 9 from a junkyard and just set up the mounts how you want them. Tundra axle will leave you with the 5lug design to mess with and the LC axle is just a crap conversion for our trucks

I think it happens with all platforms. My M3 needs a diff brace and stiffer bushing in order to help with wheel hop as someone at BMW decided one rear mount for the diff was good enough

well initial good news is ECGS is sending me a return label for warranty services. Still needs to be determined if its covered but should be good. Also gets priority for setup from new orders. may be back in business sooner than I thought if I can get it removed this week/weekend.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
Besides the 5 lug issue with the tundra 10.5", and the need to fan the shock and spring mounts, any other issues? Obviously wider as well.
If you had access to the a junkyard Ford 9" and a junkyard Tundra 10.5" what would be the benefits of either or? Ford 9" history and aftermarket support? The Tundra would keep the Toyota theme going for those interested. Guessing the 10.5 hangs lower. This is a new area, I'm ignant.

Well I finally received my HPS hoses.

Now I'm wondering if I want to cut the upper silicone hose in half or cut the OE hose in half for the upper hose temperature sensor adapter.

Do you still have secondary air hooked up? What's your setup? I can't remember.

I was thinking the same on my upper hose. I did it to my oem top rubber hose for my sensor. Didn’t think about it until after I ordered.....

The OE hose is easily obtainable. The HPS one sort of is not. Well. Then again. We could always get a secondary backup upper one from them too just in case.

How do you think it’ll cut? You think it’ll easy...fray etc. if I know it’ll cut nice and east, I’ll cut this one too like I did my oem. I’ll go snap a quick pic to show you my set up now.

I'm not sure to be honest. I'm not sure if I want to use a hacksaw, or a razor blade, but just in case some ends fray on it or what we can always burn off the residual with a lighter real quick. I may play with the upper hose later today to see if I can preadapt it to the adapter prior to the install just so things take a little less time. Luckily they want you to cut off about an inch off of the hose so we have a little bit of room to play with in case the cuts are no good and need to do it again.

I’ve cut silicone hoses before. Not the cleanest cuts but I have seen using a torch on the end to burn the fibers makes it look a lot better. I am pretty sure the upper hose is just a regular one so (not special to the supercharger, only the lower one I believe) so if anything it shouldn’t be too hard to get a replacement.

This is what I was thinking.

You mind snapping a picture of your sensor placement for reference to when we make our cuts bro? I don't want to cut too far one way.

Razor blade def has a cleaner cut, getting a nice straight cut with it isn’t the easiest. There is a special tool to cut silicone hoses but it’s like $300, not a good return on investment for one hose.

Use a hose clamp on the hose and cut slowly with a utility knife using hose clamp band as a guide.

Ill snap a pic when I get home. I did it pretty close to the center of the straight part on the hose I think.

How far does the sensor space the hose apart, are you doing one cut or removing a small section?

Shortly after the bend. Noted. Thanks for the photos bro.

Also, it looks like those clamps leak, exactly like I suspected when I was looking at them. I bought some spring loaded clamps from Toyota and hopefully they will fit just fine over the hose adaption ends. Worse comes to worse I'll have to use traditional large hold worm drives, but the ones supplied appear to have weaker sealing and holding power. Than traditional worm drives.
