Apologies. "Duty cycle" is just a reference term, although not the most accurate but still works, for conveying that it is at the end of its voltage range. Given we all understand that, it is my dumming it down way of saying that you're out of room for the flow for that 5v sensor. You'll need to swap one in that allows for a larger range within that 5v.

In my haste while I was working it came out clearer in my head as an easy description, and clearly was off lol. So I apologize.

I had a kind of a philosophical memory on the drive in to work today. When I was a young lad, I remember working on my bike a lot. Trying to describe what I was doing to someone, or relay to them how to do the same act, was quite difficult when you never knew the name of the parts. It was always "that" or "this" "thing". If "everything" is the same "thing" it makes the simplest of conversations quite complicated.

Proper terms, references, and names, simplify "complicated" conversations. Lol.

I just noticed a mistake and I'm not sure what exactly those guys did with their MAF sensor but it appears to me they 'cheated' their system instead of doing a proper adjustment.

*update - they say proper adjustments were made so all is good

Hey guys, for those of you that did roostfactors pulley wrap I got the single pulley off Amazon - its a gates model. How did you take off the bracket that it comes with?

 

i was given a suggestion today i want some feedback on.
with difficulty of finding someone to put my kelford cams in how about i find a set of heads to rebuild having cams installed then? having a fully complete (new) head install would be faster and possibly an easier route. thoughts guys?
well....this idea sounded good until i priced heads. yikes.

 

doubt it. u still have to remove the cams anyways to remove the head. someo f the bolts arent accessible with the cams installed

I’d much prefer the factory head gasket seal. Seems replacements never last as long and your truck doesn’t have that many miles.

I have a set ready to go. Need to get through smog first tho. So, I’m going to weld in a new cat to this header, get it through smog and then do the whole exhaust.

 

Are they actually "sniffing" your exhaust or just OBD scan?
