    My shit is all stock.
Truck is at 120k. Blower installed at around 90k. JBA shorty headers added at maybe 95k. I don’t remember all that well. Started tinkering with HPTuners around 105k. I think dialing in the tune is what has done the most harm to the cats. Lots of long, high load runs. I ain’t mad. I love this kind of shit.

pick out the pieces and send it.

depends on how you drive. I guarantee your MPG will suffer for a while after installing while you get some fun out of your system.
Parasitic losses when not in boost are supposed to be almost 0 with this one, unlike the 1st gen blower.

I think i went from mid 15s (mpg) while NA (35s, 3.73s) with bolt on mods..... to mid 12s with same mods but on the blower with 2.8 pulley, OVT stg2 tune, boost referenced fpr.

The additional HP completely negates the -3mpg. If it doesn't, I'm in the wrong thread.

I guess I’ll chime in here now...

I have averaged about 16mpg with a Vagabond Drifter (camper) and a rough curb weight of 5680 lbs. And I drive a mix of fun and around town outside of boost to “hypermile” the brick.

32” tires, stock gears, automatic, 2.6” pulley, TRD tune, Afe stage 2 air box.

Ya I think my biggest Achilles is letting it warm up far too long and the short jont to work. Will work on that. Maybe take it for the bimonthly Costco run up the freeway instead of the Wifes SUV

Not to be a dick, but at least your gears went completely out and had some damage. I literally lost 1 tooth with a clean break once and a tooth and a half with a clean break the first time. Which has me wondering what the hell is going on. You straight up destroyed that rear end and I am sure that you knew it when it happened. I have no clue when I actually damaged mine. Also replacing a ring gear that looks like makes the money spent on new gears seem a bit more legitimate. Sucks to be out of the truck while it is getting fixed though. Sorry man.

Keep in mind that the knock control doesn't activate until coolant temps are above 140deg F.

Those cams also need stiffer valve springs to go in with them.

Jesse, I’ll be back up north in about a month. Still down to help, guess our schedules didn’t align last fall. I’ll text you.

This is setup more for a S/C setup than a N/A setup. It works well (due to the equal length design and quality components/construction) but I have no intentions of fitting a S/C on my truck. I want to build something optimized for a N/A setup.

yah it was pretty clear and I had to move it out of the road and likely when it tore up more teeth. the sound that diff was making cringed every time you could hear a tooth going. The rear wouldn't even move but glad it's not the transmission. Since I had just done the valve body (ratiotek) the timing was too coincidental. Also not even 15 min before had loaded up the spicy trans tune. Little to say she got one spicy pull out of it ha

But yah sucks right now its not being driven as much but was bout to head up to Portland next month to get my new camp setup so I hope ECGS turns around the warranty replacement quick as I will still need to break it in

Been a long time since I posted on these forums. I've had the SC with the 2.85" pulley going 50k miles, did the snout oil and coupler two years ago along with a new belt.

Truck shredded the belt this morning, but when I was inspecting the pulleys just to make sure everything was okay I noticed the smooth idler pulley that the SC belt tensioner mounts to is completely seized. Ran my finger around it and found a nice flat spot where the belt has been rubbing for longer than it should have.

Anyone have the part number for an OE replacement or any other reputable brand? I can't seem to find the one that is specifically for the supercharger, only the standard ones on all 1GR-FEs.

Idler no.2, part C3 in the parts list if that helps at all.

Haha what's crazy is it squealed a bit on cold startups when it was raining about a year ago, just kind of went away and then this morning, BANG.
