Just to geeeeek out. @JustDSM and I just determined that we crossed paths in this online world back in '95-96. I sold him Probe mods back when we both couldnt legally buy alcohol yet!

So, is it legit? If so can you post up the link. I didn't see anything on their site.

 

I spoke with them and they said they're going to have them listed on their site on friday

 

...cause you know I haven't spent enough money on this rig.

Regarding the SC crank pulley.....remember how some people had to file the keyway and/or replace the dowel pin? All in order for it to seat/mate properly onto the crankshaft pulley.....

If this new batch also has this machining (in)tolerance, an extra step that I did was just do the mating/seating of SC crank pulley + regular crank pulley on a work bench because I have an extra stock crank pulley.

Get them to sandwich together on the work bench will most likely mean a problem-free install when you ugga-ugga-ugga it onto the crankshaft.

My offer: if/when you get the NST SC crank pulley, i can send you guys the stock crank pulley so you can do all the filing and fitting before the actual install.

 

I think it varies I did not have to trim anything but may have done the ugga-ugga-ugga when it was close and did it on the crank.

 

I still have my stock pulley. Thank you for the offer. There is a good group of people in this thread.

 

@alvinfromhawaii looks like a new run of S/C pulleys coming this Friday if you missed out last time.

 

Pulling headers off tomorrow. I got all the nuts off without breaking anything lol Which AFR gauge is the best? Might as well keep leaning forward!

 

I'm using the speed hut and it's been a nice setup. Knowing now that I want to run dual AFR I may grab one that can support dual unless you want to run 2 but space is a premium so it's to have 2 in 1.

 

I have a set of DT shorties en route. is it worth getting other header studs instead of what they include? if so which ones. Now is better than ever to do it.

ARP 434-1301 studs! waited forever for them lol @JuanitoBunito found a place that had some on hand.

 

benefit to using those over the supplied ones? seems like a common setup. quick search came up for LS engines.

 

I got URD EL, not studs supplied...

 

I hear they are supposed to supply them but often drop the ball. i should have picked up some URD studs. that where i ordered them from. damn.

 

Got the links to the URD ones. Cant seem to find them. Is ARP a better option?
