TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

I've never seen welds of yours look bad.
They all look good! We'll chalk it up to the machines and I've been doing a stainless job for the last month for a local college so I'm honed in on it at the moment.
Sound clip tomorrow if the weather breaks for a bit

 

Anyone with a TIG that likes melting stainless and aluminum want to put two spoolies on the end of my URD spec-u’s?

I’m kidding.. but I am thinking about it more and more frequently

 

They're really nice and that I can't deny. I can't remember where I read it pretty sure it was a Mustang forum, but the TVS vs. Roots thing has been debunked as they found that for the money you spend in the retrofit or bolt on upgrade over roots offerings. The power you gain is near equal or slightly edged by the TVS. The power figures were insanely close to be able to justify for what you can spend swapping over (in our case retrofitting over)

Is that an old DT pipe bomb? Great looking welds on the merge. Too bad that’s about as unequal length ypipe as you can get which will give you rasp at certain rpms

@mightytacoman I just welded up my exhaust as well - my welds make yours look top-notch.

You can probably get away with running just distilled water in Australia. Doesn’t it rain hot water there?

 

Hahaha!! Definitely not where I live. It’s cold as shit here in winter. Lol

 

Water wetter/ water for me.

 

That stuff bubbles up and creates way too much foam.
