    I’ve heard you can buy a plot of land and build a very large house in Mexico for several thousand dollars. Try that out.

    Ah, okay. I was just wondering how important that step is because when I installed my injectors, I didn't do that and very little fuel spilled out.

    At work I'm un threading fuel lines all the time. I say just put a rag around the fitting and unhook it. I do recommend safety glasses and not to smoke. :D

    the filter will hold more fuel so, some will spray but once the pressure is released it will just trickle out.

    Fuel trim question… does the 1gr normally have a bit higher number to the bank 2?

    after getting good fuel back in the truck I’m back to 3 on bank one and 6 on bank two for long term numbers.

    does it have something to do with how the fuel rails are routed and bank two is further from the pump?

    You and I both know that these new age vehicles have weird causalities for check engine lights on. Toyota is notorious for throwing symptom not cause related codes. I can attest to that first hand with all the strange headache diagnose Yotas that I diagnosed during my time as a tech. Check all the related suggestions from your scan tool first before condemning the PCM.

    Jesus Henrietta Christ. They're worried about plastic bags but not the droves of homeless turning the streets into their bathroom, but hey that's a conversation that I'm not going to get into here.

    My thoughts precisely. It's an easy pull of the cover and relay, crank til it dies then you lose less of your $4.79/ gal California fuel as you are changing out the defective filter in question.

    Yes it is normal for bank 2 to be higher since it is covered under the manifold even in OE form. You will see anywhere from about .08 - 2% higher trims in order to allow the cooling effect of fuel to compensate for the additional heat being generated and trapped on that side. It's a PCM fueling strategy to prevent lean activity of that side exclusively.

    Because barely anything came out when I pulled the line off of the fuel rail without doing that.

    You may have had a bad fuel pump check valve allowing fuel to drain back shortly after killing it. If the valve is still good, there may still be pressure in there. Best to heir on the side of caution over the side of bathing in combustible petroleum based liquid. :D

    There is pressure, but I was expecting a damn explosion of gas. I didn't do that because the ProCharger manual didn't call for it. Wasn't that bad, but I'll pull it when I mess with it again.
