    Very good. It was an 88. Bought brand new for $7500 out the door. Fully loaded vinyl bench seat interior WITHOUT all those pesky options like:
    Cruise control
    Power windows
    Air conditioning........added many years later
    Radio......added later
    5th gear
    Power steering
    Etc.

    Pretty much it was engine, driveline, and body. Sold it in 2000 for $2500 with 194000 miles. Had a family coming so had to make room.

    My first Toyota truck was a 1989 regular cab 4x4. Bought it with the body fairly beat up and engine not running for $500. Replaced the cylinder head, drove it for 3 years and sold it for $3k. It was such a tank, practically indestructible. Should have kept it around.

    Seems we are are a faithful bunch from our youth. I just hope this one lasts as long as the last one. My wife's 2004 Sienna went 200,000 with nothing but 100,000 mile service and brakes. So she has a 14 Sienna SE now.
