So ive got an issue, my upstream o2 sensors are being blocked by the transmission coolant lines on the passenger side. I've attached a picture of the old one that I had to cut in half to remove. My buddy who was under the truck for the install I assume just forced them up and the wires got stuck between the lines and the sensor melting them so they needed replaced anyway. If anyone has any advice for how I can fit the new O2 sensor I would be forever thankful lol

fixed the leak. the bolts from header to y pipe came loose. even lost a nut. also, lost one of the bolts that go to the bracket and header flange. ive lost more of the bolts over the years than anything. stupid heat plays hell on them.

I got a squeaking noise that is driving me absolutely nuts that sounds like it is coming from behind the passenger side glovebox. I've been trying to hunt it down for the last year and some change. I know nothing is making noise back there so I started mentally going down possibilities as to what it could be:

I noticed the sound gets louder if I open the glovebox.

    - Remote reservoirs rubbing against the brackets? Perhaps, but that would amplify with the window open.
    - suspension? No it can't be. The sound is too sharp of a squeak for it to be anything I've ever heard like that before.
    - wiring harness bracket along the firewall or by the PCM? Nope. It's been checked, inspected and is a hard no.
    - Passenger airbag bracket? Taken care of and bent out of the way so there is no metal to metal contact
    - AC lines intermittently rubbing the body? OO, perhaps! I checked the lines and found a large chip of plastic lodged between the line and the body itself, pretty jammed too, but enough to the point where it could cause pressure on the line to rub under certain bumps and speeds as the body flexes (Which occurs under absolutely random bump circumstances).

I managed to get it off from under there and have yet to see what happens, if the issue persists I will pull off the intake and check the lines to see if they have been rubbing the body beneath them, and possibly even re-secure the remote reservoir brackets.

If the issue STILL persists I may have to call it a loss and torch the truck and claim it on insurance.

Possible, but unlikely, as I replaced those about 4 or 5 years ago with polyurethane body mounts.

Could be a loose bolt or bad bushing somewhere, check for cracks in the body/core support/inner fender/frame, (aka: all the usual suspects).

I might have to have the boys at the shop hit all the bolts with the gun sometime soon just to rule out loose bolts.

As for the bushings, they are all polyurethane at this point. All have been taken care of. It's not a bushing type squeak though.

I agree that it’s a core support/inner fender crack. The squeak that developed with mine was really hard to track down at first (and super annoying).

Eventually the crack got so bad a piece fell out and no more noise.

This is what I am thinking. Core support piece. Mine split across at the headlight mount point. Was vibrating across itself. Very high pitched.

The core support thing is something that I never even gave a second thought to consideration. I may have to revise the support over just to see if it may indeed be my issue. It would make sense because it is a high pitched squeal which is SUPER annoying.

Problem solved! Also, the radio is always loudest on the way the parts store. *oh oh, squeak is getting worse, gonna need better speakers...*
