Hahaha. Hey the radio can't be a thing ALL the time. Sometimes I like driving in silence.

I've noticed the squeak has come to be more persistent now that it's been going on a little longer. It triggers more often for sure.

Maybe not completely fixed. Tightened everything down yesterday while hot. This morning there was a slight open header sound again but not as loud. Think the exhaust being cooled might have loosened everything up again. Got new bolts and gaskets from urd coming. The current bolts are 15 years old and I’m still amazed I can get them off so new ones it is. Anyone got any suggestions on how to keep them tight? Loctite? Weld them bitches in? (Not really but maybe?)

I just checked to see what you were talking about.. $2000 and it still doesn't address the bulkhead in the front which is the known problem child? No thanks.

That's a lot of money for something which only addresses about 2/4 of the issue.

well the problem is really the core support with the weight of the battery attached to "crumple zone" inner fenders. this absolutely fixes it. the way its bolted up to the bulkhead... it's not going anywhere I can tell. 2k is a lot if you intend to cage, etc. If you are staying *stockish* this is a must for dirt playtime.

Something a little concerning happened today. My Check engine and trac light both came on. Just before I switched to long tubes and sims it did it and the code stated it was the p2224 (cat). Now I’m catless so I wonder what could’ve set it off. I can’t check until tomorrow when I get home from my shift.

My bet it’s the p0420/p0430 code ( cat efficiency below threshold). I had this same issue running the sims. After so many miles these codes would pop up. Once cleared it was good for about 500-1000 miles then reappear.

Lock nuts. Not ny-lock. May be a pain to track down. Most are pinched at the top to put extra tension from coming loose.
