Any of you guys local to me want a magnaflow muffler? The old 3” one URD used to use in their exhaust. You’ve got a bit under 2 years to decide while my house is being built and I goto a fun state. Else it just goes in the trash.

They're not currently defined, but the ECU has the ability. One would just need to submit a ticket with HPT to have them defined and added to the editor.

That would open up some additional capability.

@White lightning boosted I was catching up in the cool guys S/C thread and see your having a problem. Did you swap your Elocker rear for the Sport 8.4’”? I can’t remember if you did . Anyways I have a 8.4” housing with a 3.73 diff with no axles chilling out underneath my shop bench if your fix doesn’t work.

If no one else needs this I would give it a go. Can I bolt this to my 2.5” TRD pipes? Maybe an adapter? They’re pretty rusty.

Regarding the coil packs; is there any proof of the performance other than vendor claims and butt dynos? Looking at swapping mine out as they have 200K mi on them. My 1st Gen coil packs made it over 200k as well. Probably stick to OEM unless I see some proof. Cheaper and better does not sound likely with the RIPP and SOS offerings. I know some feel like they made a difference, but maybe the difference is comparing old packs to new, or some other variable is involved?

High performance Yaris coil packs, would be more a direct swap. Yes. High performance Yaris. Probably would have to swap the boots over.

So with the Yaris parts that should add at least 2 mpg's right? Lol

As in the GR Yaris? Man, is the US getting screwed again on another car that would be a nice option for many over here...

This. All just a thought at this point. At least something for the curious to investigate.

Yes unfortunately this was my mistake on the backend of the website. Accidentally opened up all Toyota products when I only meant to open Lexus sales. Should've had that second cup of coffee....

The SOS coil is packed into the OEM size. We did this at first and barely gained anything without overheating it internally. The gain comes from how much larger our core is and the increased winding.

We cannot comment on other manufacturers however we can assure that ours come from a different manufacturer than any other aftermarket performance coil. We specifically sought an OEM coil manufacturer rather than a bulk relabeled product manufacturer.

I am not 100% positive on the Toyota side of tuning but I have R35 coils on my SR20 S13. Dwell time did need to be adjusted.

The orange Tacoma in our videos was far too new to have worn coils. Additionally our TRD PRO was brand new and gained the same power with the coil swap. Our new HEMI coils made 30whp on a 2500 mile Scat Pack Challenger.

Remember there's another side to "cheaper and better". Nissan coils are a great example.

If you buy OEM Nissan 350Z ignition coils they are $96 per coil. If you buy the Hitachi coil, which is literally the same coil directly from the manufacturer rather than from Nissan, it is $31. Anything made outside of OEM titled products are vastly cheaper solely due to the OEM markup.

Honestly have no idea. But if I had to give it a guess, probably profit.

Would need to be welded. The muffler was just cut out after I wrecked my 4Runner I think. So one of those cone adapters that go from 2.5-3.0” and make up your own tailpipe section.
