Why a second muffler? I added the vibrant ultra quiet resonator in front of the URD muffler and it quieted it down quite a bit. I do still have two cats, tho....

I can’t evaluate where I saw someone run 2. Back if my mind I had that idea but can’t recall why. Vibrant also another option. I have a black widows 250 that will go on along with some DT shortys.

You could probably throw on some Vibrant resonators up front by where I have my X pipe at without much issue.

Nice may consider that. I don’t mind sound but I don’t need it too loud. Sound like the better plan is to use these

Yeah the issue is those shorties will make you louder for sure, but how much louder is anyone's guess. You've heard mine, but I am not using them, and while it's more than tolerable and pleasant on the ears it's not going to be anywhere near as loud as yours will after the mods.

For sure I’m not too worried. I drove @SUMOTNK who has shorties, Y exhaust etc and it wasn’t too bad. I think he has URD after the shorties. I am planning to go to the same guy as he quoted $500 to install them. Seems fair. I don’t want to deal with it. But was going to have him do the rest while I’m at it. It’s in SJ so not convenient by any means.

500 for exhaust is a sweet deal. i spent 800 because of difficulties. with the additional fuckery of y-pipe mods on my perticular lift my exhaust total was 3900.:anonymous:headers to tip.

$500 is only for the header install haha I wish it was all $500. $3900 whoa! I’m on the loser for a JFF but debating on some Y pipe action for the time being. They work on track cars and such so seems like they know a thing or two. I guess it comes down to having all nice mandrel beds and welds or the classic smog shop bends

500 for only headers is a deal. i would pay rather than do again. cam install prices just suck compared. 3k? for 1 day labor? i may just say fuck it and sell.

yah $500 for install, I'm down. Still had the same price even months later. Hopefully hasn't gone up because of all the BS going on. After all the shit folks said ill be happy to pay that. But yeah, in terms of install and such. I like to do it myself, learn how and if I break it, then I'll learn how to fix it but damn, I have no time to do anything. The mod list is piling again, and I'm itching to get to install. As much as it's against, I may pay someone to install a few things. At the rate, I'm going ill be lucky to install anything for the remainder of the year.

HOly Sh*T glad I tackled the cam gear install myself. It really isn't hard, it's all bolts...just a lot of em. Just do one side at a time like the instructions say. Also the instructions from URD were really detailed

Now $500 for headers...me I'd still take the pain again, but that probably is worth it. that SAIS makes the headers a PIA to install

He's got actual cams to be installed. Much more involved than cam gears.
