He’s running the OE RC62F release stuff.

 

Im using the OE third gen TO bearing with the third gen pressure plate with the second gen flywheel and friction disk. I have this Frankenstein setup because I have the third gen RC62F transmission.

 

So, my wife showed me these today for a Halloween costume. She had no idea about this post till afterwards

Sorry it took me so long to reply, I haven't been checking the forums for a bit. I haven't fixed my airbags yet - the driver's side I don't care about, would be nice to get the passenger side figured out though. My girlfriend saw that the passenger airbag indicator was "off" and she said it made her nervous and I should fix it. I was thinking I'd just paint over the indicator with some black enamel or something.

 

yah there isn't really much on the driver's side. The seat sensors for the curtains are only for the passenger side.

haha wife has not noticed it yet but plan to pull it at some point and fix it.

 

What's the consensus on gauges and pods?

I liked the lotek but I got some concerns on fitment and the whole air bag deal.

I see ppl say the flex pod but then I saw mentioned that it also needs to be modified with AEM gauges?

Debating between Aem x series or the old style uego for fitment issues.

Any thoughts?

I did a flex pod and run AEM gauges without issue. I also have a lotek. It technically does have to be modified however it is extremely minor and very easy.

 

Im running AEM on my flex pod as well and all i had to do was put a washer between the bolt and the flex pod housing to push the gauges faces far enough back to clear the steering wheel.

 

I have the Perrin steering column mount. Works well with PLX gauges.

 

I installed Speed hut and had to trim so the front would fit. they work not perfect but work.
