    same here my Bonzen mounts are 3 years old and I don’t remember what it felt like before. Seems smooth even at idle. It vibrated a little after install but I notice more tire and road noise now than engine vibes

    OEM rods? A cryo treatment may be better than that. They are still inherently weak.

    Check Molnar rods. See if they have any in stock? Them or Brian Crower.

    I can't leave anything well enough alone
    I have an '05 and about 150K miles, not my daily driver - it is a loaded up camping rig. Haven't put the supercharger on yet that is sitting in the garage :( One concern is the head gaskets, being that it is in the notorious & prone failure years... What is the consensus from the group here? Should the blower w/2.8 be installed and run it with fingers crossed? Or should I go for a head gasket upgrade, along with whatever else we find (like timing chains, tensioners, etc) either before or as part of the blower install? Obviously would be the time to put on the 3 degree cam gears that are also on the shelf. I have the general thought that fixing it after it inevitably fails is way harder/worse/expensive and the failure will happen at a bad time due to Murphy's law...

    Can anyone give information about the cost for parts and labor of pulling the heads off to put a new gasket down? What are the 'good' gaskets to use? Any risks of doing a new gasket that I should be aware of, such as issues with the valvetrain since the cams have to be removed to get to the bolts? Do heads need to be machined if there is no gasket issue now? I hope some of you experienced guys can chime in with thoughts, costs, pitfalls, advice, etc. Thanks in advance
