    Not that I know of but I might start to build something if there was enough market for it.
    How many people would buy an aluminum version for $200 - $250? I think the sales would still be pretty limited.

    Edit: It still wouldnt be as purdy as @Thomasmoore66's though.

    Take the tape off. Then lube the inside of the hose, as well as the fitting.

    Are you going to add in the high flow cat? I ask because I feel I need to do something to my exhaust. I have the URD equal length headers and the equal length exhaust. But I had to cut it off after the rear axle because it hit my leaf springs. It said it worked on a 4 wheel drive, but not mine. Lol well after listening to it drone like crazy and wanting to get it out from under the truck I welded in a 18" glasspack/resonator and used the length to go out behind the springs. It doesn't drone now, but it sounds horrible. The raspy sound is just horrible. It is ok under hard throttle but just normal driving it just buzzes like crazy. And I also went in and welded all the joints that had clamps because they kept leaking where the outside tube had the split to slide over. I am assuming that everyone that is running a very free flowing exhaust has this buzzing exhaust sound?

    So you have the Spec-U exhaust? That is the only one that URD sold for a limited time that was equal length. Can you take a pic?

    The buzzing I think is from non equal length y-pipe. It is the only reason we are modifying @loginfailed's exhaust. Yes we are adding the high flow cat as well. I already have one on mine.

    After driving both the URD off road y and my equal length y (the rear of both exhausts are essentially the same) the non equal length y was much more buzzy/farty sounding.

    Are you guys getting this buzzing sound because of long tube headers? I have shorties with front cats and the urd mark 2 ypipe and I don’t get any funky sounds. I would love an equal length Y but no one wants to ship one out here to California :(

    Yeah it is the spec.U exhaust that is supposed to be equal length. With my old exhaust, DT long tubes, home made y pipe and Borla muffler it was just as buzzy, but not as low of a tone. I will go take some pics of the exhaust.

    eBay tank, just had to weld some fittings into it. 2L capacity. Also added a bung for temp sender, cuz gauges.

    Ignore the zip tied relays. Still need to move them to a permanent home.

    A lot of people that weren't happy with the spec-u put a small resonator in each side of the y-pipe. After they did that they said it was a night and day difference and they love the way it sounds.

    @loginfailed, what cats did you run? Where did you source them? Are you able to run the stock harness with the o2 sensors and no sim with your LT’s? I’ve read that modding the harness will not work because the added wire changes the resistance enough to screw things up. That’s why I’m leaning towards shorties.

    Let me attempt to dispel the myth of a larger reservoir IN the engine compartment.
    What is engine normal engine temp? Let's say 180°
    So NOT taking into account outside airflow through the engine compartment everything IN the engine compartment will heat up to what temperature? You guessed it, 180°.
    So you could have 2oz reservoir or a 20 gallon reservoir. Eventually they both will end up at 180°, the 2oz reservoir will just get to that temp sooner.

    Coolant flows from the sc intercooler, to the reservoir, then to the front mount intercooler (fmic) so the hot fluid flows through the res and then through the fmic where it get cooled. THIS IS IMPORTANT SO PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS PART!

    So someone tell me how 180° coolant from a 2 quart reservoir will make any difference to intercooler performance over 180° coolant from a 2oz reservoir.
    The sc cooling system sees no difference.

    The way to POSSIBLY increase the effectiveness of our system is with a pump upgrade and/or an increase in fmic size/capacity. I have actually thought about increasing the size of the fmic end tanks which would increase coolant capacity of the system but I dont know if it would actually lower coolant temps more than what we currently have.

    I hope I am not coming off as an ass (love you guys) as this post is designed to hopefully educate people so they dont venture down the wrong path with the right intensions.

    If anybody thinks differently to what I have stated above please reply so we can discuss it and clarify further anything that is not fully comprehended.

    Back to welding @loginfailed's exhaust.

    @ThomasMore66, you'd know if you were here! He didnt have any cats prior to today. After today he will have one Magnaflow metal spun high flow cat. The stock o2 sensors have a URD extension harness so they can be installed in the collectors of the headers. You will have a cel unless you have an o2 sim, UCON, or some other method to trick the ecu into thinking the cats are still there. Maybe OVTune can turn the code of as well but I'm not sure.
