I had TONS of issues with the URD Cai as well. There are just simply too many bends in it and the MAF sensor placement is in a fucky spot for it to perform properly. A honeycomb insert prior to the MAF would help with airflow a lot.

You may need to perform a hard reset by pulling your battery terminals for a bit. It usually helps a lot when you are having those issues.

Are you throwing any codes? What are your AFR's? I'd imagine you have a P0171 and P0174. with 18-22% fuel trims on both banks.

Couldn’t say what the trims were as I was being remotely tuned. My code was the P0109. But they went away when I swapped the pulley

    You swapped back from a 2.7 to a 2.8?

Remind me what the P0109 code is again.

Yup swapped to 2.8 and issue went away. I’m sure my AFR is still a little off but definitely not as bad as it was. Edit….I was wrong….it’s the P0101

Pull up the freeze frame on it and look at the MAF G/S when it coded.

I used Techstream to program TPMS sensors and adjust seatbelt alarms years ago. Are those things possible via HPT/VCM?

You actually make a good point there. There is functionality in TS that is useful, which is not built into HPT.

I should clarify, from an engine tuning standpoint, TS does nothing HPT cannot.

Lets just say for the 3rd Gen, Techstream and other 3rd party software are required.

I can't make disparaging comments regarding certain software without risking not only my license, but my partners. It's in the ToS.. ;)

You can't, but I can. Not only is the creator of this thread a free agent not bound by ToS rules, but he's also a loose cannon with nothing to lose on most days, so I can speak freely for the ones who can't. ;) Hahaha.

I finally did the restrictor jet mod, it was stuck on the bypass valve. It’s a tight area but I got it off and it drop and hit the ground, oh wells lol. I didn’t get to try it out yet but I plan to this weekend. Does both ends need to be clamped? Or just on the supercharger side?
