It's fucking awesome. Belt slip was a royal pain in the arse prior to it.

I've broke a Toyota Tensioner.. still not enough for me to warrant making the switch.

if you end up having to buy check the east coast. Daytona Toyota and a few others have it for $700, you may or may not get no tax and right now still free shipping over $200.

Does anyone have feedback on the mark 3 exhaust? I may be interested in that. Heard mixed but may give it a go for now. Better than stock.

I thought quite a bit were running it? I am but now this has me worried. But not as much time on the S/C as @12TRDTacoma

In other news, I got my new stud in today and it turns out approximately about 3/4 - 7/8 of the old stud is currently lodged in the block. I got a tap repair woman who is supposed to be the holy grail of broken bolt removers on notice and she is supposed to be coming either later today or tomorrow, but she is flaky so I'm not holding my breath for her to show up today and based on the issue at hand, my hopes aren't very high for anyone to be able to save the timing cover, even her.

In designing the pulley system in general, I would design the setup to be as static as possible all the while having as much support to it as possible to prevent belt, bolt and bearing deflection in order to prevent detrimental failures. I'm just seeing this through an engineering perspective personally.

I mean, yeah it is funny to laugh about but the amount of time and heartache this is currently putting me through, especially since I have everything I need to repair it but cannot due to one simple BS thing is the most frustrating part about it all.

And it very well may. :notsure: I just think it's very important to put all this stuff out in the open, whether or not it was my fault or a self induced issue or a simple freak hardware failure so we are all aware of what's going on and what can possibly happen and things to look out for. You know "Tips, Tricks, and Mods."

To be honest, I would rather have that issue at this point over what is currently going on.

You never run two tension mods on this setup. That is too much stress on everything, even the belt and the belt is the weak point of the whole setup. Lol

There are quite a few of us running a stronger tensioner on here, whether or not it is the Roush is anyone's guess at this point, and then there are the lurkers who look but don't post.

Good point likely a large group not as active. I’ll have to keep an eye on mine as I’m only working to get more juice out of it.

Exactly. I like to keep specific weak points in things for that reason. Same reason why I've solid mounted everything else besides tierods essentially.

No I think she is actually out of Concord, but regardless, she is out of this general east bay area, yeah. Why do you ask?

You know I was always about that methodology as well, but I never thought this section would be an issue so I never saw a reason for weak points.

Tried em, no dice. That stud is in there something nice.

No it was never cross threaded either before anyone asks. Lol.

Be careful with a 1 piece shaft. Not sure if it’s only a problem for people with different gear ratios but I know they can reach critical speed a lot sooner than a two piece.

Who here has the high angle CVJ 9808 TR Axles with the plastic Toyota outer boots?

I got the same high angle CV axles but with the black outer boots in rubber. And that rubber cracked and tore immediately
