I will say that the RC62F is a nice improvement over the RA60F. I'm not pushing the HP you are. But I am AWD.

 

If Daniel didn’t go 4x4 on his LS t56 swap than I assure anyone it’s NOT easy. It’s not just length but providing 4x4 engagement etc… And his Tacoma build is probably one of the most amazing/expensive builds ever for a Tacoma frame and body.

does anyone have a vaccum line schematic they could share? just some last checks i can do before i meet with @JustDSM . im actually afraid it may be spendy problems.

 

There is only one vacuum line. It goes to the FPR. The other hoses are crank case ventilation and brake booster if you have the vacuum booster.

 

crap. then its random tuning quirks or my heads may be needing rebuilt. truck afrs are really goofy.

 

You also have the purge valve. It can cause some weird driving conditions if it needs to be replaced.

im getting lean/ rapid fluctuations on my afrs. more so drivers bank. hard to believe for me at this mileage. open to suggestions.

For some reason my phone isnt linking pics but the vid will help. Na and supercharger are really similar. On y'all's it should be bolted to the oil filler neck. Except me cause I wanted a cleaner look.

Those purge valves can indeed fail and cause lean activity. I've seen it on many Toyotas. It's not really an inherent issue on ours but it is still worth checking.

The only issue with evap crap, however, is you can test it until your face turns blue and it'll test fine until you actually just replace it. It's always a guessing game with EVAP equipment.

 

THANKS to all of you for highlighting this issue! Mine is also affected though, thanks to the limited driving I've done in the COVID era, it looks like I caught it at a cosmetic (rather than structural) level of damage. For now, I rotated the offending clamp and zip-tied the line to keep it away from the S/C. Will probably look at something more permanent and pretty when I tackle other routine maintenance, like spark plugs and belts...
