It self destructed at light load on freeway cruise. The supercharger is going back in and I will be selling/trading the truck. Go fast will now be designated to a Tesla Model 3 Performance, and 4x4/truck duty in my 1st Gen Tacoma.

    Yep.

@jamesepoop if you want to go the above route, hit me up. I have one of these TRUST (Greddy) oil plates.

You might be able to have it welded for cheaper than that. I threw a rock up into mine, had the same size hole. Got it welded shut. Been working ever since.

Thanks dudes. Exactly what I was looking for. I'll settle for a 2nd heat exchanger for the oil that should take less space and absorb a few degrees. Mainly just dragging my feet on installing lol

Doh. I was looking for those. Ended up chancing it with an online vendor <vet owned business) and the thermo plate and box look legit.

Looks good. I was going to try a similar set up with a setrab cooler but couldn't get it to sit as close as I wanted but I see your going to use it as a pusher fan? Are you going to use a thermoswitch or manual button for operation?

same here, I had Doug thorley long tubes and only used oem gaskets and no sealant. No leaks in 10 years when I had the truck.

You can use it as a pusher or puller fan but yes I’ll have it setup as a pusher setup. I have a Thermo in the top I let in the pic. But will also wire it up with a switch. Will kick on at 180 and turn off at 165. For now I’ll run inline with rad but may swap to direct later. once I get the main e fan setup.

for those that installed hps heater hoses. did you drain collant? or just make a mess and add? curious if that section drains well, if at all. thanks!

Made some good progress today. Both head bolted on and torqued to spec. Got all the wires & hoses behind the heads buttoned up. Finished with the passenger side header before I had to break off for the sisters birthday

I should point out, I am going to an external cooler. The integrated cooler is seeping at the fitting connection unfortunately. While my Champion is a good fit and radiator cools like a champ (no pun intended), the fabrication ain't great. Had to fix one of the welds too, it seeped coolant slowly.
