    Whooooooo MAMA!! I MISS my stall converter in my 6.0 GTO. That thing made the car mild to WILD at the depress of the go pedal.

    I swore up and down by the brand Yank. I miss that thing alot. Not ideal for my truck though. :(

    There is no problem going with a smaller pulley. Do you have the quick change kit?
    I also dont recommend removing the jet. It MAY not hurt anything but there really is no reason to have the bypass valve slamming open and shut. It moves plenty quick enough with the jet in.

    How rich are you wot?

    No really. The TRD tune is reliably rich. Clearly I could add some more air to help that problem. The 255LPH fuel pump and the SC injectors clearly supply more fuel than I need with the TRD tune. Why not drop to the 2.7" or the 2.6" pulley?

    I would put the jet back in but that's just my opinion.
    The jet is like a shock for your bypass valve. It dampens or slows the rate of opening and closing. It still moves plenty fast with the jet in and has no effect of when or how much vacuum it takes to close the valve.
    Would you drive without shocks on your truck?

    Good idea.

    Boost reference is really only if you need the extra fuel. If you dont want more power and are happy where it is then remove boost reference. What is your afr without boost reference?

    Well it also helps because it relieves the extra pressure that the boost is applying on the fuel system. I thought it was in my head but every time I switched to boost referenced over the traditional connection way the truck picked up acceleration.. it was purely because the boost was applying so much "pushback" on the fuel system that by boost referencing it I was now providing relief and better flow within the system.

    Regardless, the TRD tunes need better tuning and once I get my ass in gear and get my own truck tuned I will be tuning it with the boost reference configuration.

    I'm just happy I've been able to piece together a thread where everyone can gather and keep it civil, lighthearted, and informative all at the same time. Which is how I always intended to have this thread. I dont need the mods in here swinging around ban hammers and locking threads because people cant keep their composure, you know what I mean.

    The problem with OVTune (self tuners) is that a lot of people here are not numbers saavy like it requires you to be in order to correct the values needed to make these trucks run at proper air fuel ratios. I don't even know how to do a catalog on the software for god sakes. Lol. It is very difficult to talk to the man himself at OV for any tips and advice at that.

    I think when the OVTune starts looking like a good option. At the moment I don't think it's fully baked and I for one am confused about the different units. Tuneable seems like the best answer, but I don't have those skills...yet.
