    Replaced the 2.6” pulley with the 2.7 and cleaned my engine air filter. I don’t feel any loss of power, in fact it seems like it’s actually a bit better and I’m wondering if it’s because of the aforementioned issue where smaller than 2.7” pulley messes with the stock auto trans.

    What's the trick on the fuel line disconnects (hard line to flex line just before it enters the gas tank) when installing a fuel pump?

    Fought with those little bastards for 30 minutes before I decided I was going to break something if I started trying to get creative. I was able to pinch the blue tabs with my fingers but couldn't get the lines to separate.

    So I’m on the path of getting the last bit of drone out of my exhaust. Running catless as some know, it can be a pain to achieve an almost perfect sounding exhaust note without some drone. I currently have 2 resonators to a stainless works turbo style muffler.

    I’ll be switching it to one new resonator to a new magnaflow xmod muffler to my stainless works muffler. I hope this kills the last bit of drone I have at that 2700 - 2900 rpm point.

    I am curious to know how this turns out. I currently have two Vibrant silencers and a Magnaflow muffler and it's not terrible...

    Very comparable to my current setup. My 2 resonators are vibrants. The new one I’m putting is as well. I’ve heard good things on this xmod muffler. So, we’ll see. :pray:

    Around 2800 rpm is definitely the last bit resonating/drone zone. It’s a work of art to be completely free throughout all RPMs when you are catless. A large straight through muffler right after the y collector is key. Then a big chambered to exit is my advise.

    On the other hand. All these modified exhaust systems we see on this thread keeping their stock manifolds can do just about anything, be completely unequal, and those oem cats will still deaden an otherwise horrible sounding truck and take out resonating drone. :rolleyes:

    imo my taco sounded best with stock manifolds, jfr y pipe and a 3in catback.
