I was able to read a part number on one and it was a stock injector. I couldn't get a picture though. Is it possible that they were reflowed?
It seems to run well at wot and have good power. Afr guage reads 10 to 11. Is it possible for the stock injectors to supply that much fuel?

How can I tell what tune the truck has? I have looked and there is not any type of tuner anywhere so I assume someone flashed the ecu.

Tech stream software. I have a mongoose cable and I rent the software by the day. Pretty neat stuff.

Ok thanks I will look into it. Feel like the Injectors should be my main focus seeing as they are obviously not right but i assume I need to figure out if it has the trd flash first.
Is there any possibility it would run with the stock ecu flash and injectors? Surely it has some kind of tune?

It would run like absolutely garbage if it was on the stock ecu tune. My bet is it is on the TRD tune/Flash. Just a hunch though.

So assuming it has the trd flash what injectors should I get?
I have had a hard time finding the orange trd injectors for a decent price. Would the fic 445cc injectors work? Looks like they are a very similar flow to the trd injectors. Are there any other companies that make an injector that would work with the trd tune?

I just sold a set of TRD injectors for $150. Darn..

The FIC's may have a similar flow rate, but their response times vs. voltage will be quite a bit different. You'd find the fueling would still be off even if they have the same peak flow rate. You'd really want to have the proper injector calibration data in the ECU for the injectors you run.

The orange ones came with the trd install kit, so those are the ones you ultimately need. However, if you bought FIC’s. I’d get the ones that do indeed match what the orange trd densos put out. They probably aren’t identical so you could then get retuned with hptuners and have OTT set you up.

Some handheld scanners can display/report the Calibration ID.

A 2007 Auto should have a Calibration ID of: 30439100-30439400
A 2007 Manual should have a Calibration ID of: 3044110-3041300

If it's a TRD S/C Cal it'll start with 3YWG instead of the 304 of the N/A calibrations.

If I was to get fic injectors is there a way I can get the ecu tuned without having to buy a mpvi2 and learn how to tune it? This is my daily driver and I want good performance but in the end I don't have much time to mess with it and I need it to be reliable.

Thank you that is very helpful. I have a bluetooth obd2 reader. Is there an app that will read that info?

My partner is in Birmingham. I am certain he would be happy to help you out if you're up for a drive. He'd be able to flash you with his hardware/software so you don't have to invest in all that stuff. I can put you in touch with him if you'd like. PM me your email address and/or phone number and we'll make the connection.

I had only seen the sway bars and radiator cover. I hadn’t seen the frame stiffeners. They seem to make some different products. Not sure if they are intended for off roading as much as road driving.
