I was gonna say, I think I ran addco on my old WK HEMI, and was disappointed that it didn't have the same lateral locks as the OEM sway bars. You had to basically put a hose clamp on both sides of the sway bar mounts. at least for the front

 

For almost double the price though. If you want to upgrade the end links, the super pro looks decent since it's a full lot. You can buy 2 piece collars to lock your sway bar into place from the hardware store. But having a kit is much more convenient

 

Take it to a reputable shop and do some diagnostics. They can make sure the intercooler hoses are not leaking (or reservoir empty!). I’d also consider a compression/leak down test to check the health of the engine. That’s some low mileage. There maybe some things like diff/transfer case oil changes or spark plugs that may have been missed.

 

Yea I had the shame experience but it was still better than stock.

I mean imo it's worth it. The weight difference alone makes it worth the dollar. I also think the adjustably made it worth a couple seconds at the track. Although I'm fairly confident I'm in the boat alone with racing a 4runner on autox and road courses so my feedback won't mean much to most. Lol

 

They are smaller but about 2mm if I remember correctly.

@DocME @loginfailed or @Torspd should have the measurements on the original pulley.

 

I appreciate it. Having options is a good thing for the community. I probably would used a similar set up had I known it was available. The addco is temporary until I change to a torsion blade setup.

 

I pestered them about rails and fuel pump hanger 3 or 4 times back in the day. I guess I wasn't the only one.

I'm just curious, how does it work out with insurance payouts and you keeping the truck to part it out yourself? Like do they give you the totalled value, then charge an amount to keep the truck or something?

I did after apr stop his run of fuel rails. Told me it was not a popular market. Lol.

 

Yes. Just find a good spot. I would pull the fuel pump fuse for added measure. One bump should do ya.

 

Or and hear me out. Put it in a barn and wait like 30yrs. It could be in the next Forza horizon.

 

They give u a price on what they will pay u. Mine was $12,000. And they there’s a buy back amount. Usually what the junk yard will give them for a price. Mine was $3500. So I ended up with $8500 and the truck. Not bad.
