Installed the RIPP could packs a couple months back with @SUMOTNK along with Ruth plugs. Also tk jote I did Clemson MAF, TB and repulse PCV (it was fine but I had one)

so far acceleration is nice and smooth. A few longer trips I averaged 12.5 mpg. This is up from 11ish. Coming back from Tahoe with some hills I almost got 14 but that always happens with the downslope coming off the mountains.

I was skeptical but I’m sold on them after the revised plugs.

now its just wait and see if theyre as reliable and long lasting as stock. my reservation on anything not oem. my jaded view on 3rd world countries manufacturing.
i am impressed with the ripp coils thus far. the higher output makes a notably different exhaust note. tells me its making more bang, i like them.

Yep. Sit on that trigger longer.

When in doubt always hold it longer. If still no movement then give it a quick break and then give it hell again.

Or you could use the breaker as suggested. I do this method when I'm at home and don't have access to impact tools.

just laced up a new belt this morning. no way possible i could get a 69" belt on a 2.3 pulley with a roush and lft double roller. dont know how @12TRDTacoma did that. i may resort to a 2.5 pulley and going back to the stock tensioner. stock may have more mobility/range of movement. really wanted an rpm series belt but its just not possible.

Just had to put some more cojones into the tensioner to move it a little further to accommodate the belt.;):D

This is just a preliminary post, as I have not explored all of the information available to us, but I just recently picked up a Banks iDash supergauge for the Camaro and damn this thing rocks! I see tons of information output on it! I was just checking some of the preliminary stuff when I first threw it on the truck so I didn't see what I could and could not see but it could be very useful to us!

This is a stupid question but you're positive you ran the belt correctly and it wasn't getting hung up somewhere? I ran the Roush with the 2.3 and a 69" belt for a decent amount of time and I was good the entire time.

    Ty all for the responses!

@Lucario Runner the starter method worked perfectly!
Last two days I got everything torn down, supercharger & accessories put on and both coolant systems plumbed !

thank you @o0opackersfano0o for the CSF! It looks beautiful in its new home.

Just need to swap the ECU/ relearn the file through obdii dongle, and it should theoretically fire up !

This is my first time doing a job this big on the engine/performance side of the truck. Lots of little pieces involved and systems to set up. I’m definitely nervous, but re-reading the Magnuson install PDF to make sure I’ve checked off every step.

I’ll keep y’all posted later this week when I wrap stuff up a few minutes at a time before I head to work each day.

Does anyone have a nice set of oem exhaust manifolds they’d like to part with??
