No they won't. You would have to use the DFE version of those not the PSPE. I don't have the part number for those right now.

Dang, and I threw away the factory plugs. Looks like I need to take those Ruth's out before it gets towed off

I've been running the same idler since it happened to me. I've had no worries about it going bad since I installed it after checking over post 1000 miles. My advice is run it and don't even worry about it.

I confirmed with Dayco tech that the slightly smaller bearing can handle our RPM no problem. With saying that, I run a 2.7". Almost a full inch larger than yours. As for you, because you run that 1.87" pulley, you may want to check yours every so often due to how ungodly fast you are spinning that blower.

I saw that one. But anything with a diff drop is out for me, since I plan on doing the same 2/4" lowering kit on a RCSB. All three RCSB's I can find for sale ATM have 6"+ lifts, so they're all no go's

I get it, I looked for one several years ago as well. Good luck!

It's really nice! But I'm afraid I'm going to be super picky about what I get. That already has most of the parts I own and want to swap over. And it's not 4WD, which I really need it to be, living in CO. Just for city driving snow days.

    Appreciate the leads though, thanks!

    Form follows function

Did Toyota ever make an AWD transfer case compatible with the 5.7 or high hp? Would be dope in a xrunner tundy.

I appreciate the project-daily nature in that case - need 4x4 up in Canada too for the daily/beast.

Yeah it's wild. That's out by where Stradman lives, I wonder if it was one of his buddies.

Hey guys I just wanted to post this to possibly help anyone else out this might happen to. My truck randomly died while driving and it threw these codes:
    P0351, P0352, P0353, P0354, P0355, P0356
So truck died, check engine and trac off light came on.
Truck would start and die in 2 seconds, ran perfectly fine. Then if didnt cycle key to off truck would just crank and not start. Resetting key it would repeat. I had a friend flat tow me home, truck started fine. So I drove it again to see if it was a fluke which it was not. It did it again but luckily it restarted and I limped it home.

I was using ripp superchargers coil packs which had been in the truck for like 2-3 years now. Originally I was going to just disconnect one coil pack at a time and see if anything changed but a mechanic friend convinced me it was probably my crank sensor. Which I don’t think toyota crank sensors are a common issue but I did it anyway. Mine looked pretty gross with a lot of metal residue on it. B919855E-99A4-44E5-B77D-EE8E41AC3896.jpg For anyone’s future reference don’t waste your time disconnecting the alternator to do the crank sensor like the fsm says. Just pop off the ac compressor and get it that way. But long story short, crank sensor didnt fix it. I was pissed and freezing so I decided to put my stock coil packs in the truck and it fired right up, haven’t had an issue since.

On the forum there is a few threads on these trucks throwing all 6 coil pack malfunction but I don’t think anyone really said how they fixed it. So just in case this happens to anyone else what I think happened is one coil wasn’t sending a signal back to the ecu that it fired or it was sending something weird that was freaking the ecu out and causing it to turn the truck off.
If you needed to move the truck I would try unplugging coils one at a time until it would run, and even though it will be missing you should be able to get off the roadway to safety. It doesn’t seem this can only happen to ripp packs but I was a bit disappointed it happened so soon to mine. I am pretty sure it was either my cyl 2 or 6 pack doing it. I was using the 4runner packs (before 4.0 taco specific ones were available) so cyl #2 wiring was pulled pretty tight to plug in, and cyl #6 had a lot of oil residue on top of the pack. Not sure if that was just seepage since the pcv is so close, or if it was coming out of the coilpack itself. But I did take some of my anger out on the #6 ripp pack. A811B862-9A0B-4A03-ACF7-88D6125891E1.jpg

Safe to say it did not survive a strong yeet onto the concrete. I do not plan on using the ripp packs ever again. If I was using normal spark plugs maybe. But with the ngk ruth plugs they just fit way too snug. I had to use a lot of force to pull them off the plugs, even though I used dieelectric grease when I installed the coils. If the rubber boots would have torn it would have been a nightmare trying to extract them out.

Long story short, if your truck dies but is running fine and it throws a code for all 6 coil packs, at least one of them is not sending the proper signal to the ecu causing it to freak out. Might not be a horrible idea keeping a spare coilpack in the truck incase this happens out in a remote location.

I was wondering what came of all of it in the end. Regardless of what the fix was, I'm really glad to see that you rectified the issue A. And B. You are back up and running reliably!

I've been putting extra drive time into the truck lately and everything has been smooth sailing. I do gotta say, despite these trucks being boosted now I have never felt like this rig is unreliable in any way shape or form considering how much I've been ignoring it maintenance wise in the recent year or so.

I feel your pain on this, I certainly have had my share of stuff go wrong on my vehicles and have been in that mental space.

I have a box of emergency parts that I take with me on road trips so that's a good one to add to the box.
