Were you running the 0W-30 oil or did you switch to a thicker weight?

 

0w-40 If I remember correctly

 

That tensioner bolt is a non issue as it doesn't experience the same severe duty that the main studs do, handling the entire load of the engine AND supercharger drive pulleys all on it plus the inertial load that it regularly sees from the main supercharger pulley.

I'm here for the gangbang.

 

Got the AEM 320 E85 pump in today.
Those who have done the URD filter relocation, is this right about where you put it too?

Looks like I'll be visiting Texas on June 5-9 for work! Would be awesome to meet some of you for a coffee or something. I won't have my truck BUT would be cool to see some of yours and otherwise just compare stories and learn a bit about living in the great US of A.

As far as visits go, I might be able to swing only a short couple hours' visit since the work itinerary is jam-packed but hopefully it will work.

This little yellow line is approximately where our mainline is, and we'll be traveling along that. Most likely fly into San Antonio first. What I'm thinking, now that I think about it, is I'll take a red-eye into San Antonio and get there before my co-workers arrive, and take a taxi to somewhere that would be convenient for those around that city (but not too far from my hotel either), hopefully it would work for you guys to have a coffee in the early afternoon on Sunday June the 4th.

Let me know who would be in for that!

I agree, the LS/ LT engines look ugly as hell in factory form compared to the 1GR without a doubt. Why that is, is beyond me, but here we are. All I know is I got some new shiny billet internals and within the time of my ownership of this beast, I'll never have an issue with internal components failure again AND I won't need to ever touch the HPFP now for additional fueling.

That would fit the 2001 4Runner right? I'm looking into all options to replace the tundra once it's out of the shop. I could s/c an old 4R, get some older tow vehicle for the trailer, and still have some change left over after selling the tundra

That would fit the 2001 4Runner. I've not seen/heard anything more on that unit.
