I feel ya. I wanna get back to not having vehicle payments. I'm fine tearing things down to fix em, so might as well have a couple of older cars for projects

I do have a dark confession.

I went by the Ford Dealer this past week.

I walked by a nice GT Mustang, no Mach or Shelby, but I noticed a manual shift knob sticking out of the console.

I was intrigued, so I took a peek under the hood to find this.

    Roush Supercharged.

Yes, it did follow me home.

The Coupe family celebrates boost in any form.

Congrats! The Norton family similarly celebrates boost in any form - everything we own is either supercharged or a turbocharged, helping to overcome the 7K foot elevation where we live.

The Ford Special Vehicle Team (SVT) variant in my garage is a 2.3L TVS on top of of a 5.8L DOHC 32-valve V8 producing 733 RWHP & 713 RWTQ...

All boost and builds are welcome here! To limit ourselves to the 2nd gen 4.0 is somewhat terminal to the thread because at some point people move on from these platforms whether be it their truck getting totaled, mechanical damage, or something else that I can't think of right now.

The main focus of the thread, however, will always be mods tip and tricks for the 4.0 though, and that will not change. Lol.

Speaking of builds... she's back in and ALMOST ready to go again!

Before we mounted the engine back into the engine bay I made the executive decision to just go ahead and surprise myself to some new BMR polyurethane engine mounts since it A. Would be easier to do while it was out and B. To allow more working room in there if and when the need ever arises again.

Final day of the build resumes tomorrow. Not much left to do but mount the blower, the radiator fan/ shroud and connect the coolant lines in the process. Fill her with coolant, give her a couple turn overs to get her nice and primed, a quick reflash of the PCM and then she breathes at long last once more! :)

@Athlaos I just requested to be added into that group buy.

As for everything else, the boys flaked on me today but I refused to let them ruin my mojo. I got a lot of stuff done today and while I was expecting it to be done today I figured why not advance as much as I could on the project. 85-90% complete now. Just needs a bolt or two added back on the top, 3 coolant hoses added back on, coolant reservoir bottle the supercharger belt and pulley back on, then of course the intake. After that only a few odds and ends remain on the bottom but we can at least begin cranking it over to prime everything then top everything off once we fire it up. :D

Tomorrow we'll be good to go for sure and I guarantee that to myself.

Anyone have a Y-pipe diameter recommendation for my truck? I was hoping to get one of the JFR's but that isn't a option anymore. I can provide specs about my set up if needed but i'd imagine id benefit from a decent diameter due to the procharger pushing a decent amount of air and getting into its powerband largely at the top end. Currently all I have exhaust wise are the (now discontinued?) URD equal length catless headers and I think id like to go the equal length catless route with the y-pipe as well. I've included the procharger spec sheet as that should include most of the numbers needed. I have the D1SC blower
