TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

Well, I have managed to mess up my water pipe extension tube between the thermostat housing and water pipe under the intake. Does anyone know where I can get one of these? Or does anyone have one I can buy off of them? Picture below is the part, with the red arrow.

 

Superchargers Online stocks all the parts for Magnusson. If you don't see it on their website give them a call. Magnusson will just refer you to them if you call Maggy.

The extension tube was part of the kit so they should sell it. Might be a common part elsewhere.

Yeah, it came with one of the install kits. What started as a water pump replacement has turned into a bit of a nightmare. I will try Superchargers Online, thanks for the recommendation!

Can't find the one for the Taco, but on the Tundra it's called the Water Cross Over Manifold. I'd just call them and ask for that but the Tacoma

A water cross over manifold is exactly what it is. On GM that's what they refer to it as as well and they are typically made of plastic, especially on their Sonics and Malibu's and as you can imagine they fail FREQUENTLY due their plastic construction nature as well so...

Sounds like Superchargers Online has to order them. It will probably take about 4 weeks to get so that’s a bummer, but I’m glad there’s still a way to buy it… Thanks all for the help!

 

what about the aftermarket billet version? the one ive yet to try and return for the correct one for s/c applications.

 

oh, i see its not the stat housing. ugh.

 

is a welding fix possible?

 

I bet Mr. J.B.Weld could fix that.

 

JB Weld would officially ruin the manifold assembly and if you ever needed to remove the insert piece for whatever reason, you would no longer be able to.

 

Colder plugs listed on page 1 to get you running. I’d upgrade the fuel pump if you haven’t already.

 

Working on the M3. 106k miles on it. Changing out a bunch of worn rubber gaskets causing and a leaky valve cover gasket
