I put the wrong Ruth plugs under the blower. I put the ones for naturally aspirated. Seems like I just keep making mistakes everything I try to do I’m not even gonna say some of the stupid stuff I did so you guys don’t make fun of me.

We've all been there Brotha.. I'm still learning as well.. and this area is definitely not my strong suit either. Dont stress it! Biggest thing is that you are trying it yourself and learning as well. dont be afraid to ask questions.

Yep used to pay for everything and half the time people I’m paying just messed it up anyway, even at the stealership. Had to start learning to minimize repair bills and bad repair causing damages. Just recently I brought the truck in to have the driveshaft done at Arizona Driveshaft and they gave it back to me with a check engine light on. Their guy broke the brake pedal sensor somehow $20 part they refused to replace. Their guy broke the brake pedal sensor somehow $20 part they refused to replace. Even the dealerships messed up But, I’m glad I had the clutch done at the Steeler ship. A shifter washer spilt in half and I was stuck in third gear and so I burned out the clutch, trying to make it out of the desert hills. “Certified” Steelership ducked it up, I made them redo clutch 3 times. There is some kind of issue with the throw out bearing spacing on these clutches, and they had a hard time with it. Duck them.

This thread is very different from the rest of the forum. As long as you don’t arrive here and start out insulting us, we are very welcoming and helpful.

If you “ask a stupid question”, you may just receive a response to read the first post as there is a lot of documentation there - belt part numbers/lengths, spark plug specs, videos on how to do things, etc.

There is a LOT of info there and I’m still looking back at it after being here for a few years.

FYI- I got a used LEAF, so I can now tear into the truck to do some things I’ve been wanting to do… need to build a clean workbench in the garage first though so I can have a place to set things out labeled so I can still do my daily life things and ride bikes without having to feel rushed to get back to the truck project before I forget anything.

I know the feeling.. Have had my share of local Phx shops creating issues and dealing with bad customer service. I've found a couple places that have been pretty good, depending on where you're at in Phx. Bummer about Az Driveshaft.. I have used them multiple times with no issues. They are my go-to every time I destroy the driveshaft.

Yes, everybody has been very great and very helpful. I’m just saying that I’ve done some really stupid stuff. Like, luckily I bought my rotors from AutoZone with the warranty. I put the pad in backwards. But as a real dummy, I first brought the new damaged rotor to O’Reillys to be resurfaced, and the rookie employee only resurfaced the one bad side and gave it back to me with death wobble Lol. Then only figured it out I had the expensive warranty for dummies

I have blower on it. I’m going to change them all to the IKH 24s and order the right ones Ruths for SCer. I had ikh22’s but some turned yellow on the ceramic. I was going to change the hard ones out today under the blower but i already started the truck and it won’t cooldown until tomorrow morning. I just checked the temperature on the head. It was still 180° after sitting for an hour.

so my boosted bros i have a question. tpms light has been on a while. prevents me from taking traction control off and wont allow wheel spin/fun on. changed the abs sensors just now, battery disconnect too. no change. what do i check next? IF it were the case of the sensors in tires can that affect the traction control imput? looking for my next move. appreciate feedback. and happy 4th y'all!

My tpms light has been on for well over a year and seems to have no effect on my stock traction control switch or my modded abs traction control kill switch. My trucks a TRD sport though so there's probably some differences in the traction control operation.

Your next move is to either obtain a high quality scan tool or a TPMS specific programming tool to in order to attempt to obtain a TPMS frequency reading from each sensor.

Given the age of the truck, you may be at the end of one or more sensors battery life, as the average lifespan of battery for these TPMS sensors is anywhere from 8-12 years.

The strategy was changed post 2012+ vehicles in order to comply with era updated EPA standards.
