I'm not a fan of unknown used blowers w/o all the fitkit parts. That said, maybe you can recoup your $$$ spent by parting out the blower? ( nose cone, Rotor pack, etc)

I think that TRD blower intake plenum/surge tank would be an awesome starting point for someone wanting to do a TVS setup!

Hell... I'd buy the blower and send it out to get rebuilt to swap mine out with. No downtime..

That’d be an interesting group share… If we just passed it around, had each person ship in their worn out blower with the new person’s shipping address as the return and continue on and on for no downtime…

I guess the issue would be for those of us with TRD cast blowers vs the later Magnuson cast ones. I wouldn’t want to lose my “so desirable and rare” TRD cast blower.

    that's what I was thinking..

I guess that would be up to the end user. I personally dont really care. I do have the old TRD branded blower tho..

If that does not work out for you, I have a complete, new-in-box TRD blower and install kit I am going to sell.

Otherwise, try to find a truck in a junkyard.

Yeh, it's a little late for me now but it's probably not a purchase I should have done... I found Bag A: https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~trd~tac~spchr~1gr~v6~ptr29-35072.html and thought I could find the rest using:

But turned out to be more difficult than expected. And didn't expect the install kit even new, to cost $5k.

$900 And yep, Magnuson sent me to SCOL, who got back to me this morning with the $5k pricetag on just the install kit. It was an impulsive buy, but I read this https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/is-a-supercharger-from-a-wrecked-tacoma-worth-it.777392/ and thought I could make it work. Obviously though that poster had alot less to source.

That would actually be a really interesting thing to do. A group shared "core." I dig the idea actually.

There may be a URD "Black Friday" sale... not sure if they do those. It may be worth an email to them asking for some pity discount code to see if it makes it a bit more of a deal for you.

Ouch. That seems like robbery of a price! Although I guess the injectors alone are fairly pricy.

Do you have the SC install manual? I could send it to you. There could be some "pet rock" type parts you could make/find/source yourself, and the rest you could find from other members here (maybe someone has TRD injectors), or order individual parts from SC online.

I just got my truck back from getting an exhaust done, will it take time for my ECU to relearn to breathe?

these s/c kits were avalable years ago for like 4k+.
this being nearly '24 prices are different. if you paid low, get the fit kit and a tune in the 5-6k range i think youre still winning!
