Would that cause a p0101 mass air flow code?

Edit: it's the only code and I switched the intake out a month ago so I think I'll start with cleaning the mass airflow sensor and see what that does?

I tried to clean my MAF when I got that code and it did not work. I just replaced it.

Your MAF calibration data is incorrect in the ECU for the intake you're running.

Copy thank you it's just the trd intake, I figured oem Toyota wouldn't be too much a big jump.

I need to get these cam gears in so you can tune me up!

I don't know the one that came stock? And to an extent but if I'm being honest I was double pedaling it down the windy mountain

That intake has a much larger ID at the MAF than the OE intake. It requires a rescale.

Posted this earlier in a separate thread but thought it be appropriate for this thread. 3rd HD ratiotek kit I've installed. This install is on a sequoia transmission that I'll be swapping on my personal rig. Very positive results NA. Looking forward to seeing how it does with the SC.

If you’re still running the fj intake tube as @JustDSM yju need his magic touch. Trucks going to run like shit without some tuning or you can get the Tacoma intake tube and it will be all good.

No I have the regular TRD tube intake in there now and the code hasn't come back but I still feel like it's not giving enough gas. Unfortunately I don't want to have to tune my truck twice. Everything else is done except the cam gears.

Gotcha is your truck lifted, big tires? Is it not feeling as peppy as you were hoping it would be?

I have 34's but I immediately switched to 4.56 gears years ago so that solved that issue and then some.

The difference from changing out to the 2.8 pulley yielded more boost as expected but for some reason it felt like my truck was physically "pulling" harder with the factory pulley. I have the 320 DW pump so I covered the supply issue.

Was that before or after tuning? My truck needed some different tuning to give more fuel. had more HP but was not as peppy. I am running slightly more but its peppier.

Did you get the trans tuning done? You may like the spicy trans tune

No I haven't tuned it yet haha, me and gio are trying to secure a date in the next week or so to have him help me with the cam gears.

I already bought the hptuners stuff and it's sitting on my desk waiting for the final piece.

gotcha well that will def help you out with a lot of this then. May need some tweaking but some good ol tuning should make the truck happier.

Gotcha that makes total sense then go figure. Surprised Toyota doesn't mention this when they sell it to you

I bet it's just manufacturing tolerances that are loose.
