also tack on the smaller pulley and other goodies. I know that when I was trying to get the Fj one to work when @12TRDTacoma was also trying I had more issues and went back to the tacoma tube but we were also tuning and at the time the maps on the Fj/T4R were not as widely known as they are now.

Get the rest of it going and get it tuned or get it tuned and adjust. If they are doing a solid tune they should update it for you. Loading new tunes is pretty easy and can be sent to you via email, chat etc. @FishingInSand I did not drive my truck until having the tune. Did the TRD and immediately had the base HP tune added with the high level list of mods.

Yeah depending on how far out the cam gear install is I might just get the tune going with what I have and pay the difference to have it updated later. That's a good call.

Thank you guys for all your help, not trying to spam this thread.

This is going to sound like a stupid question, but do I have to loosen the supercharger belt in order to access the regular serpentine belt tensioner? I'm trying to swap out my alternator but I can't remember or see where the old tensioner used to be?

You have to remove the tensioner and it's bracket to access the serpentine belt. It's all behind the SC setup.

some of these mods are intimidating for non mechanics like myself. some are tough, and some are very easy once youve done them. s/c removal for example. took me hours to change 3 spark plugs. now i can pull the s/c in 45min. if not for the supportive bretheren on this site i would have never learned. you got great help here.

The regular serpentine belt tensioner also just looks like a regular idler, but happens to move.

You have to take it all the way off to get to the serpentine belt. I mean, maybe you don't have to, but... as @White lightning boosted mentioned we don't want any tow trucks in our future.

I do think his blue wheels look awesome though!

180km but I have a small pulley so it's like I have more I suppose.

Dope! It definitely looks like it can do some crawling around yeah so I bought my TX Pro about 2 months before the 2015 inferno pro got anounced. Basically I was onsesswd with it ever since. Been lurking the for sale sectionkey here for a while and the one I found had the supercharger on it already! I was sold lol PLUS this one was barely installed in 2019 from factory with the factory tune. I bought it on faith front across the country and I was in Mexico at the time too kinda cool story. Truck only had 74K miles and SC was on at 56K

So a regular alternator 45 min job turned into 4.hours last night lol.

I ended up being able to sneak a racheting 12 mm wrench in thre to get the inside alternator bolt off but man I was cursing last night lol

That happens... I've replaced several alternators and it hasn't ever gone exactly to plan. Good job getting it done.

I got pretty good at replacing the alternator. Until I added the coilover bucket gussets. Now that shit just in the way and makes it harder.
