Mine shows just below 8psi peak with the 2.85 stealth pulley - cam gears, and an intake. Usually around sea level and 60-80° temps.

Think that boost lid sealing was the issue @IvanhoeTaco

Gotcha seemed to be how everyone and all Y setups were set up, so I did not think much of it. We have 4 cats as it is. @JustDSM, how much will having it in the headers change things vs. the Y or the collector, as many do it? my end goal was to have left and right senors but was planning on the Y

You have a much more open exhaust, correct?
    my exhaust is all stock

opening up some of the restriction after the blower, usually results in a little less psi. at least that’s how I understand it.

conversely, freeing up restrictions before the blower, like an intake, will allow for greater psi

Also, tuning seemed to make a big difference. When I first had my set up. 2.8 pulley, Cam Gears, TRD Intake and some good old @JustDSM tuning all stock exhaust I was hitting 9 almost 10 PSI. I cant recall if that was us trying to get the FJ intake/MAF to work. The tune always seemed to not be peppy on the low end so Justin did his magic and now its sits around 7ish maybe 8. Im due for a tuning session with Justin once I get my truck back and hopefully start to free up my exhaust at least what I can do.

I keep toying with 2.7 but need to tackle my Exhaust and Fuel Pump first.

I wish I had some hard data to share, but I really don't.

It's safe to say a free-er flowing exhaust will drop the pressure, but it's difficult to make predictions. Generally, on these applications I don't worry too much about boost pressure since the engine management only cares about air mass.

Makes sense. Do you feel the placement is a big deal on these? It does not seem to be that big of a deal, but if we can place it in optimal, then at least try.

I don't for the 'casual observer'.

Tuned a ProCharged 2G a little while back and have some interesting data on the factory 02 in the OE location, wideband in Ypipe and DynoJet wideband in the tail pipe.

I actually have some data on this.. All collected at the same time.

2G Tacoma, all stock other than a ProCharger kit as our test subject. Stock exhaust, stock ypipe w/ 2nd cats, and stock manifolds with primary's. Let's look at what the factory O2's read (before all 4 cats) what the wideband read (it was installed by ProCharger after the merge in the ypipe so after all 4 cats). and we'll look at what the tail pipe sniffer said.

    Stock ProCharger tune:

    StockProCharger.jpg

    StockProChargerdyno.jpg

    How's that for "lean"..... :)

To a work in progress configuration with a bit richer mixtures..

    WIPProCharger.jpg

    WIPProChargerdyno.jpg

There you have it. I'll let you guys digest on that for a bit. 3 wideband's sampling the same vehicle at different points in the exhaust system. :)

B1/B2 Lambda are the Factory WB's in Green/Yellow on the HPT Logs
EQ #1 is the AEM WB in blue on the HPT Log
Air/Fuel Ratio 1 in red on the dyno is the Dynojet Wideband

super late to this, but yes 2007 did not have the SAIS. I had an SAIS on my 2005 2.7L Tacoma (4x4 5MT), which did just fine with Doug Thorley headers, but when those systems have problems it is pricey!

those gauges are kind of a mind scramble for me too. with a rather large pulley at sea lvl youre not far off imo. humidity and temp chane things too. log and check.

you could try but relocating the compressor may be easier for the intake you need.
