Yep, they're weird. I add dialectic grease to the boot before inserting. That's what she said!

Are you guys have problem with intercooler inside S/C got clog because oil vapor from PVC even I already installed oil catch can and I still see oil around intercooler. How to clean it really good the intercooler, do I need to soak it with gasoline?
BTW if I use air compressor run through intercooler I can feel not that strong air from the other side.

I just douse it in brake cleaner. I usually have to re-glue or replace the orange foam gasket so I need it clean for adhesion.

Nice work, @JustDSM! This is great news, that I wish had been available when I needed a new ECU to complete the install of my S/C...

Always been like this since I've installed and looks like previous owner as well. New pulley with small spacer to get it riding center?

You know guys. We have a lot of sustained mods here that we have been talking about for a long time. Being that I own two boosted engines at this point, I started looking into other power adders and I started investigating artificial cooling mods for the blower. We all know about meth, but I don't want to run that and others either I'm sure for obvious reasons, but has anyone here considered running an interchiller? We could easily see a solid 40-60 HP just on this thing alone.

Unless you are racing IMO one of those systems is a lot more head ache than it's worth.

What makes you say that? I've been against them for a long time as well, but a well thought and designed system with the right implementations in place to prevent excessive refrigerant from running through while you are running your AC on seems like it would be pretty solid.

Just curious, does anyone know off hand how much power the stock bottom ends of these motors are good for?

From what iv seen, seems like these motors are pretty happy under 400whp. Anything above that, you are starting to get into the stressed zone for these. Not to say that their arent people running over 400hp on the stock motor. But im on the trd supercharger with 2.8 pulley and it makes about 365 whp and it is very happy. I feel confident in running it hard and having no issues

365 at the wheel!? On a dyno? That sounds damn good for a 2.8". What other mods?

Another member (bully dog tuned) is selling their 2013 DCSB 6-speed with maggy supercharger. Suspension is overdue to be rebuilt and some other things. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-miles-virginia-30k-obo.833302/#post-29907965

Mine is also for sale and doesn’t have any issues. Crashnburn80’s previous truck. I don’t have an official for sale post yet, as I need to get the 300lb camper off the back and then remove the Dobinson’s leaf springs that would give it a 7” lift without the camper… extra ECU, laptop with Hp tuners, bunch of other stuff. Super OEM+ build. Automatic with TRD cast supercharger.

You are going to need to either engineer a sick bypass setup to utilize the normal coolant setup on demand or you are going to have to run your AC 24/7 when in the truck. My truck already has enough issues with the AC I don’t need to be adding more shit to it. Also in terms of constant usage I am pretty sure these setups don’t do the best. So imagine you have to be in boost for a long grade you may run into issues. Top all this off with the fact our maf sensor temp is going to have no clue that chiller is cooling to sub ambient.. I think it’s a whole lot of hassle and nuance which for my daily driver I have no interest in dealing with. I did look into one of these awhile ago and I really like the idea just the more I considered the use case for the truck it doesn’t make much sense really.

You don't have to run the AC from the cabin to run this bro. That's what I'm getting at.

Think about it. If you wanna try it be my guest. But unless you plan on drag racing I don't see the need for something like this. Could you make more power with this no doubt but I think you really gotta consider what you are using the truck for.
