Pulled the UCON a couple of weeks ago, ran the truck very conservatively a couple of times and did not get the code or a coil issue. I sent the UCON to URD, they ran it on a truck for about a week and found nothing out of the ordinary. However, they did find a couple of firmware conflicts. It's on the way back to me so I will run the truck a bit more without it and see if I am getting no codes consistently and then put it back on to see what happens next.

I put a deposit down on a 2024 Trailhunter and might just retire this rig and enjoy a stock new ride.

Cut about 1/2 off reservoir threads to get cap to sit lower to clear hood

Going to put a nozzle in this bottle neck intake and see what happens

Very nice! Post impressions and any particular quirks. I was thinking of doing the same down the line, maybe an AEM kit.

Has anyone figured out what the orange foam gasket wrapped around the intercooler is made of? I know it is silicone, but is there anything special about it and the adhesive?
Or a better source price/shipping wise than URD or SCOL? It's almost $50 w/shipping.

Interesting. Wonder how it compares to the TRD/magnuson. Biggest issue I have found is tuning. Im still running the toyota reflash on my truck. It runs great but I have searched all over the state for someone to possibly do a custom tune with HP tuners and no one will touch it (no cats seems to be the big issue)

76mm throttle body upgrade, just checking part numbers before I pull the trigger. Can anyone who has this confirm 22030-0S010 ?
I plan on using the URD adapter and I’m guessing a 3” to 3.5” silicone tube to go from my AFE intake to the bigger throttle body.

I’ve also URD’s 7th injector. I’m hoping that won’t be an issue when fitting things together.

I did search old threads before posting this but wanted to be sure. Thanks for any advice.

Here’s a pic of what I’ve got now:

Ps, should I go with a factory throttle body gasket? I remember in one of the threads I read that someone was recommending that.

Based on the size of the rotor pack and it's appearance, PLUS the claim of 60% HP increase giving it a max output from stock of 377HP it appears like we may have a very first TVS for our trucks available on the market at last.

The pulley that is on there in the photos makes it look real small already. I wonder if that factor into identifying this.

Unlikely. Even with a super small pulley using roots, we still can't make that kind of power without a butt ton of supporting mods.

Factoring in a 18% drivetrain loss (which is what ours is supposed to lose) out of 377 puts you right around 310 WHP. 15% being the usual industry standard puts you at 321 before even touching anything else. I don't believe it's a pulley size thing, more an efficiency thing.roots is 60% efficient at its best effort, a TVS is 70% if I remember correctly.

Maybe a group buy on just the core and minimal parts?
Most of what is needed should already be installed.

It's a Chinese blower they advertise it as a twin screw. If you buy direct from the maker they told me $4995 USD plus 350 for UPS shipping to USA. The blower housing looks very similar to the magnuson dual vvti blower. I have confirmed they have single and dual vvti 4.0 fitment if anyone wants to be the test mule.

I suppose that makes this a potentially decent deal on a blower of questionable manufacture. That's disappointing.

To be fair here, based on the fact that a lot of manufacturing work has been outsourced to third world countries, I would almost bet my full man card here that the Magnuson blowers while designed out here in the States are outsourced to China to be built there and sent back out this way. It only makes sense for a Chinese manufacturer to be able to make the case so absolutely similar to the Magnuson one that it almost looks mistakenly LIKE a Magnuson one.

See what I'm trying to get at here? I actually think these guys may be the ones who build these things for Magnuson. Only difference is you buy it directly from Magnuson more often than not for a premium price while if you buy it from these guys you get it for considerably cheaper.

Can confirm that at least the LTR on my S/C install has a 'Made in China' sticker slapped on the bottom of it.20240721_144759.jpg

I suspect my deatschwerks 255 fuel pump is failing. ~80-90k mi. I installed that with the URD kit.
Can I assume the AEM pump will be a drop in without anything additional? Will the intake filter sock work with the OEM canister just as the deatschwerks does?
Has anyone actually needed more flow than a 255?
Should I replace anything else while I'm in there? I see mention of a different submersible fuel hose.

Last time I dropped the tank. Strategically waited for the tank to be under 1/4. This time it is full and do not want to drive it to near empty.
I am contemplating just lifting the bed this time. I do fear the corroded HW. But the tank straps are also likely to be a challenge.
I'd rather not do a full removal and just elevate it. How far up would it need to be for access to the fuel pump hatch? Likely have to do this on my own.
