Thanks! Actually neither. My ECU is heading to your doorstep for the TRD Calibration with an OTT to follow. Should be arriving Friday I believe. This was still with my NA KDMax Tune so no road time for me yet.

Sno kit installed yesterday, made some boost juice and took it for a ride. Set at 3psi first and was a little boggy with #4 nozzle but could feel some extra pull for sure. Set to 4psi and is more predictable now. 88° 100% humidity and saw 7 psi which I don't see often at all. Blower is barely warm compared to last night when I parked the truck in garage and garage became 100° just because the truck was in it. I could literally touch the cats and the blower was still scalding

On way back could only hit 6psi and could feel some surging at high rpm/higher speed. Possible belt slip?

I hate chasing more power honestly. Every step up has its own set of challenges that are so infuriating you question every decision you've ever made.

And the problems are always un-duplicatable sitting still and requires literally just throwing stuff at it to see what sticks.

I'm sure this isn't new to anyone on this forum but I'm just venting. I'm happy with the truck but I should've bought a dedicated car if I wanted power/speed

I share your mindset, which is why I’ve left the truck alone and watch along with the thread. I am glad the truck has been reliable while putting out more power than NA/stock and hasn’t been a money pit. While I’d like to have more power, I don’t want to create future headaches for myself.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
Let's say one would use the proper washer fluid to spray, why not use the existing washer fluid reservoir? I get the issue of running out if using it for the windshield as well. Any other reasons? Do the dedicated tanks have a level indicator?

The gaskets and rubber washers would not last long with a high methanol content I would imagine. You would still have to plumb and wire pumps up. The only saving would be not having to mount an external resevoir

And yes there is a level sensor you can install and wire in but the truck is rarely driven and I didn't want the extra point of leakage from drilling a hole in the reservoir. Same with my gauge, it's just hanging in the glove box and I have no plans to mount it on the dash. Once I see it's working like it should for a few weeks I will just let it hang out in the glovebox

Came out great! That's what I was imagining when you said stock airbox. I might have to rethink my own setup. Was going to do an aftermarket intake but the stock box looks good there. If that tank ends up being too small, I have the larger upgraded tank if you need but I think you're limited by space. I'll probably end up with a 1+ gallon tank in-cabin to relieve some space in the bay. I have my s/c coolant where your tank is placed

Yessir, with the slee bracket fits nicely but ruins any hope for an aftermarket intake

I had to get rubber intake adapter and that placement is literally the only place you can put it. Probably not 100% efficient but it works for what it is.

Also finished up my front suspension with a double shear and some bypasses. So basically I'm trying to master suspension and performance at the same time. Neither of which gets better the more money you throw at it without lots of testing and tuning lol

I’m 5+yrs into tuning my suspension in. It’s a dark art and takes time and testing to get to where you’re happy. Just keep trying things and tweaking it until it’s performing how you want

Well your hard work shows. You the most famous orange tacoma on in the internet lol. I like the challenge, got to cut my teeth on valving with lightening up the coilovers for the bypasses, I'm still on stage one, bypasses fully open to get a baseline and start turning the screws from there

Need some supercharger troubleshooting. Im 2k miles on my SC and just started to develop jumpy acceleration. Cruise is fine. Highspeed acceleration seems to be largely fine. Most the problem seems to be accelerating from stop or slow it just surges or jumps.

Before I installed it I installed the URD Fuel pump/filter kit. Obviously has brand new injectors and plugs that came with the kit. I've recently installed a new MAF(Denso). I have a boost gauge and I'm getting 5psi in Phoenix heat. Problem occurs as soon as I start driving whether the vehicle is cold or hot. No overheating issues currently or ever. Coolant level doesnt move. I do have new Denso coil packs on the way as the ones installed are original with almost 170k on them. Running OE Mag tune.

Are you sure its not in the transmission?
From what your describing, it does not seem like ignition issue. But if you have new coils on hand the put them in and do a visual on the plugs.
Check fuel pressure during the light acceleration. You can just tape the fuel gauge to the windshield so you can see it. I have heard the fuel line in the URD kit splitting when over tightened.

20240811_185109.jpg After a bit of trimming on the Flexpod, I've mounted my AEM gauges. As far as wiring goes, I think I'm going to combine the positive and negative wires from each gauge and then Y-off to another pair of wires to run to the source. Curious to see what 12v source people are using? ECU should be arriving tomorrow with a fresh TRD calibration from @JustDSM. Getting closer, almost there...

I used an add a fuse to the ignition I believe. But any fuse that gets powered only when the engine is running will do.
