TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

This is the same route I took and I'm happy with it. Everything runs great with OTT's tune.

I do sometimes wish there was a button to switch between the different throttle tunes (i.e. mild and medium), but that's unrelated. The 3rd gen's can use their ECT button for that. That's how I have it setup in our 4cyl Tacoma.

 

I too wish that was the case! There are un-used throttle maps in the ECU that could be used for that, but it would require a custom code patch to allow that functionality. Hmm..

 

Doooooo it. I’d love a “valet” switch to keep throttle map to turtle and max rpm at like 3k.

I still have a spare ECU if that is needed.
