TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

It's not just you. It's that fucking o ring that is the bane of my existence. I had to remove the plastic cap and attempt to reseal it like 3 times. It kept leaking out fluid because it would shrink while I was attempting to put it on.

Finally I put silicone paste on it to make it tacky and it stuck just enough to where I could put the ring on without having to worry about it. No problems after.

Edit: the seal doesn't leak fluid. It leaks out gas. Apologies on my scatterbrain. Lol.

Finally.....Finally.....Finally!!!!!!....... I hope this was worth it, I won’t know until the drive tomorrow into the firehouse....wd40, is a must. Sprayed just a tad after I loosened it and was able to pull it up just a smidge. Sprayed it in then twisted....

Edit....I also chewed up my hands in the process, scrapes and cuts that will hopefully heal with a smile on my face.

Now, do I just enjoy it the way it is for now because it's about to be Christmas, etc.? I'm leaning that way. Need tires which will push me to finally get the CMC because new ones will be just a little bit taller and they'll remind me that I never got it done before. Still want a front/rear bumper too. New front will probably force me to change springs on the Icons. It's a never ending cycle.

 

Apparently I got lucky when I put my fuel tank back together? Also @GT7 your float might be getting stuck at a half tank. I'd verify as it gets low again.

 

I just bought a bumper through 4x innovations. Got a great deal....only bought it because if that reason....it looks great

I believe so. It seems filling it up helped fix it

 

Well I got two new upstream sensors. Will be able to tell if that fixes tomorrow.

For the record, Gadget told me to change them when I installed the ucon. Prices in Calgary were ridiculous so I ignored him.
