    Going to the drags next Wednesday. 1/4 mile. Hope I can do well. Lowest time before was a 14.1. Hoping for no tire spin and a lot lower times being able to wot shift now. Can’t wait.

    @loginfailed You will be very happy with these 4runner brakes (2010-2014).

    Pedal feels very solid but most importantly the truck has a noticable difference in stopping power now.

    Even for you guys who do not have bigger tires, I think you’d be happy with this setup.

    I have never ridden in a BBK truck. These have to be atleast 15-20% better I would guess? That % is based all on butt dyno. Stopping feels a lot easier now though. It feels better than stock brakes did with stock tires. I still only have a few miles under my belt on them so I will be able to say more the more I drive with them.

    The only aftermarket brake upgrade I would consider is rear discs. But again with that you have to put in a different master or the pedal will not feel firm.

    I have understood the master cylinder needs of rear discs, hence the price. Your new setup sounds tempting. I was going bbk, but on the fence now. Any modifying? Or do they just bolt up?

    Murphinator, did you install steel braided lines on the front as well? If not, that is a pretty big upgrade as well from what I’ve read and doing it on my dirt bikes. The very first thing I did on any new bike I got was to install front steel brake lines. That was always a big improvement.
